Someone asked me awhile back to make a video on simple sentences. I hadn’t thought of how tricky that might be to some. As a learner, I always thought of Spanish as a code. Maybe this code will help you as well!
Basically it involves a subject and a verb.

This video lesson covers two verbs that are irregular in the preterite:
ver (to see) and dar (to give). They're pretty similar in conjugation as well which is why they're usually taught together when learning the preterite.

*Author's notes*
The Royal Spanish Academy (Real Academia Española) removed 'Ch' and 'LL' from the alphabet back in 1994. Words starting with 'CH' & 'LL' in some more recent dictionaries will appear in the 'C' or 'L' sections.
The 'RR' was removed because the trilled sound occurs in the letter 'r' at the beginning of a word and when it comes before some consonants.
All this means is that I'll post an updated version of this video sometime in the future!
