This video shows how to use the inequal application on the TI84 Plus or TI 84 Plus Silver Edition graphing calculators to graph systems of linear inequalities. There is also a demonstration on how an x or x is greater than etc relation can be graphed.
Here is the link to my other video that shows how to download the Inequal application from TI in case you have lost it or in case you have a TI83 or TI83 Plus calculator that doesnt have Inequal as a standard application. http//www.youtube.com/watch?vBsHNcb9M5k

WEBSITE: http://www.teachertube.com This video demonstrates changing logrithmic equations into exponential equations and changing exponential equations into logarithmic equations. Exponential and logarithmic equations are different forms of the same principle. The video points out the advantage of being able to do this depending on what the unknown isif the unknown in an exponential equation is the exponent for a given base that exponent can be isolated and solved for by converting it to a logarithmic equation. Conversely if in a logarithmic equation like logx 4 we can solve for x more easily be changing it into 10 to the power of 4 x. Whatever isolates the unknown is what you need to use.

This video shows how to use matrices to solve systems of linear equations on the TI83 and TI84 series of graphing calculators. There is a historical snippet. The matrix arrays are shown. It shows how systems of equations in standard form and the keystroke by keystroke process of entering the equaitons into the calculator calculating the solution and interpreting the values. Checking the solution is also emphasized.

WEBSITE: http://www.teachertube.com This video demonstrates the use of the Conics application on the TI83 and TI84 series of graphing calculators. Circles ellipses and hyperbolas are evaluated. There is a discussion of changes in h and k shifting the location of the conic. Standard forms of equations are explained. There is also some time taken to show basic the basic algebra of solving for y in order to graph. For ellipses major and minor axes are defined.
