Someone asked me a while back to make a video on simple sentences. I hadn’t thought of how tricky that might be to some. As a learner, I always thought of Spanish as a code. Maybe this code will help you as well!
Basically it involves a subject and a verb. And we can also add some other things to the sentence. In this video we’ll talk about one of those things: conjunctions and give some examples.

Here’s a quick video where we learn to how to use the phrase: Sino and Sino Que.
Sino and Sino Que mean “but”, “but rather” or “but instead” in Spanish, and we use them to link ideas in a sentence that are different from one another. Unlike “pero” (but), “sino” is used when the first part of the sentence is negative and the next part contradicts the first part. We use “sino que” when there is a conjugated verb used after it.
