Let's try an adding problem I think you can solve
If you have 3 pencils, 3
And you add 2 more pencils 2
How many pencils do you have all together?
3 + 2 = 5
Let's try another adding problem, I think you can get it
If you have 2 dogs 2
And you add 2 more dogs 2
How many dogs do you have all together
1,2,3,4
2 + 2= 4
Let's try a subtracting problem I think you can solve
If you have 4 balls 4
And you subtract 2 balls 2
How many balls do you have left?
1,2
4 - 2 = 2
Let's try another subtracting problem
Think, you can do it
If you have 6 apples 6
And you subtract 3 apples 3
How many apples do you have left?
1,2,3
6 - 3 = 3
