The Second World War is known for its brutality, with both the Allies and the Axis powers fighting tooth and nail for supremacy.
In spite of this, however, there were some incidents in which soldiers from one side actively or inadvertently aided their enemies. Whether this was done out of a sense of morality, ideology, or some reason known only to them, here are a few examples of when Axis and Allies worked together.
