Basic Integration Example 01 (Separating Fractions)
This is the first of 21 videos, each of which is devoted to solving a 'basic' integral problem. I have assumed that you have watched the previous videos in this series (and practised the skills discussed therein), or that you have learned integration at school and are moderately proficient with the basic techniques.
My aim is to discuss strategies and patterns ... things to look for and traps that you may encounter. In other words, I try to emulate the kinds of thoughts that may go through a student's mind when confronted with different kinds of integrals.
I will not discuss each integral in the text here, so the text will remain essentially the same for all 21 videos (sorry ... you will just have to watch the videos ^^).
