Decimals are easy to multiply - just count the number of places behing the decimal place for each of the numbers you are multiplying, then add these together to get the total number of decimal places required for your answer.
For example:
1.5 (1) x 1.5 (1) = 2.25 (2) The numbers of decimal praces are shown in brackets.
