GeoGebra has the Illustrative Math curriculum FREE in GeoGebra. Check out http://geogebra.org/im and join Monique Zhou from GeoGebra and Alice Keeler to talk about what will be available in GeoGebra for grades 6-12 in the fall.
We’ve restructured our #IllustrativeMathematics & #OpenUpResources 6-8 curriculum so teachers can now create #GeoGebra classes with fewer tasks! Doing so can help some students not feel so overwhelmed all at once. https://geogebra.org/m/ckm3ffqh #lessismore
Maths Lab+GeoGebra Training by Try For Learn Day 4
GeoGebra session
Presentation by Sujan Kafle
Task:
Given an angle, use circles to construct an angle bisector.
You try it!

In this step-by-step tutorial we will use images from the web to model a real world application for right triangle trigonometry problems. Along the way the viewer will learn how to use many GeoGebra features, gain exposure to strategies and techniques for building interactive worksheets, learn to correct mistakes, and create a dynamic student learning experience.

In this video we are going to learn how to make a pie chart using open source dynamic software GeoGebra.
We can easily create colourful pie charts.
This video is a selected video from the Asynchronous Online Course - “Expanding the Curriculum with the Geogebra Application”.
The course (for 3 Graduate Credits) will be offered by Adams State University for just under $300.
The next session will begin in June.

Making an interactive and moving demonstration of circle theorems helps reinforce what the situation is. You can do it very quickly and easily in GeoGebra. This one is for the fact that the angle from a chord to a tangent is equal to the angle off that chord in the alternate (other) segment.

We'll take 30 min to explore GeoGebra's Notes app and see how it can help with teaching and learning math remotely.
