Learn how to solve problems involving Boyle's law. Boyle's law states that as pressure increases then volume decreases and pressure decreases volume increases.
I use the Boyle's law formula Pressure x Volume = K
Example problem:
3.00 L of a gas is at 740.0 mmHg pressure. What is its volume at standard pressure?

A gas occupies 12.3 liters at a pressure of 40.0 mm Hg. What is the volume when the pressure is increased to 60.0 mm Hg?

The spleen is located in the upper left abdominal cavity, just beneath the diaphragm, and next to the stomach. It is similar to a lymph node in shape and structure but it is much larger.
An easy way to remember the anatomy of the spleen is the 1×3×5×7×9×11 rule. The spleen is 1" by 3" by 5", weighs approximately 7 oz, and lies between the 9th and 11th ribs on the left-hand side.
Your spleen is considered part of the lymphatic system.

the spleen consists of two types of tissue called white pulp and red pulp. The white pulp is lymphatic tissue consisting mainly of lymphocytes around arteries. The red pulp consists of sinuses filled with blood and lymphatic cells,

As blood is filtered through the spleen old and damaged red blood cells are removed from the blood. In addition, the spleen produces lymphocytes in response to invading pathogens found in the blood. The spleen is like a large lymph node that filters blood instead of lymph looking for invaders like harmful bacteria. White blood cells stored in the spleen help remove and eliminate these invaders. It is particularly helpful when fighting meningitis and pneumonia

The spleen also stores blood. The sinuses in the red pulp of the spleen are filled with blood and can be used in case of an emergency.

You can live without your spleen. your immune system won’t shut down without a spleen, but it won’t operate as efficiently.

How to use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the hypotenuse or a leg length.
Learn how to use the Pythagorean theorem. The Pythagorean theorem expresses the relation among the three sides of a right triangle. A right triangle is a triangle with one angle of 90 degrees. This theorem can be used to calculate the missing length of a right triangle. The Pythagorean theorem states that the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the two sides equals the square of the hypotenuse. The hypotenuse is the side opposite the right angle.

Example problems
Calculate the hypotenuse of a right triangle given the side lengths.

Calculate the length of the missing side.

Different types of triangles classified by side length and angle length.
A Scalene triangle has three different side lengths.
An isosceles triangle has two congruent or equal sides, and an Equilateral triangle has three congruent or equal sides.

Triangles can also be classified by their angles.
There are three angles often associated with triangles.
Acute angles are less than 90 degrees
Right angles are exactly 90 degrees
Obtuse angles are greater than 90 degrees

All triangles have two acute angles and the third angle determines the type of
the triangle you have.

An acute triangle is a triangle with three angles that measure less than 90 degrees
An obtuse triangle is a triangle with one angle greater than 90 degrees.

A right triangle is a triangle with one right angle or ( 90 degrees).

Learn how Meiosis is different than Mitosis.
To begin with What is the goal of mitosis and meiosis?
They both create new cells. Both mitosis meiosis start with diploid cells.
Mitosis creates body cells that are diploid. diploid means they have two sets of chromosomes. In humans each body cell has 23 pairs of chromosomes or 46 total.

Meiosis also creates new cells but these cells are gametes which for males is sperm cells and for females it is egg cells. These cells are haploid which means they have one set of chromosomes.

Phytoplankton and zooplankton plankton are organisms found in the ocean and bodies of freshwater that drift and cannot swim against the current.
In this video, I would like to talk about two types of plankton
Phytoplankton and zooplankton.

Zooplankton is derived from Greek and means animal drifter
Although most zooplankton is microscopic, some are larger such as jellyfish.

Phytoplankton means plant drifter
Phytoplankton is photosynthesizing microscopic organisms found in the upper sunlit layer of all oceans and bodies of freshwater on Earth.
Phytoplankton is sometimes called the grasses of the sea. Like land plants, they produce lots of oxygen through photosynthesis.

Learn what buoyancy is and Arhimedes principle. If you have ever tried to push a beach ball underwater you know how difficult this can be because the water pushes upward against the beachball. This upward force is called buoyancy.
Which is the ability of a fluid like water to exert an upward pressure.

If you drop an object in water which is a fluid then the water level will rise. In other words, the water will be displaced. The weight of this water that is displaced will be equal to the buoyancy force.

Archimedes principle in simple terms states that the buoyant force of an object is equal to the weight of the fluid displaced by the object.

An introduction to heating and cooling curve. In this video, I introduce heating and cooling curves and show the location of phase changes.

" A typical heating curve for a substance depicts changes in temperature that result as the substance absorbs increasing amounts of heat. Plateaus in the curve (regions of constant temperature) are exhibited when the substance undergoes phase transitions."
