In AI news, Anthropic says its new top-tier model, Claude Mythos Preview, will not be generally released. Instead, access is being gated through Project Glasswing: an invitation-only defensive-security research program centered on major firms, but also including the Linux Foundation and a wider group of infrastructure organizations. Anthropic says Mythos can find and exploit serious vulnerabilities across major operating systems and browsers, and can even turn many known flaws into working exploits. If those claims are true, then the risks go beyond what bad actors might do. It is also what happens if elite closed-source tooling advances faster than the open and auditable world can keep up with. In the worst case, we could end up in a world where closed-source products become technically harder to compromise than the open alternatives that people can actually inspect, modify, and trust. That would only deepen centralization at exactly the moment we need more diffusion, democracy, and citizen-led solutions in the software world.
Meanwhile, South Africa has published its draft National AI Policy for public comment. Much of it reads as sensible and rights-aware. But one part deserves scrutiny: the draft says the Information Regulator should be strengthened to counter "misinformation, disinformation and other harmful online practices," and it also gestures toward AI content-moderation and curbing misinformation. Read narrowly, that could mean fraud, deepfakes, and preventing real harm. But read more broadly, it raises the risk of mission creep into the realm of speech governance, depending on how "harmful" and "misinformation" are defined and enforced later. Whether these concerns are real remains to be seen.
Further north, the French parliament is now considering a bill that would shift the burden of proof in some AI copyright cases. Supporters say this is a necessary response to a lack of opacity in the AI industry, and thus gives writers, musicians, artists, and publishers a fairer chance to enforce their rights. Critics argue that it flips the normal burden of proof, and will expand litigation pressure, and thus chill lawful experimentation, satire, parody and stylistic imitation.
On a final note, users of NVIDIA's OpenShell sandbox on Linux should check a newly opened security issue on NVIDIA's NemoClaw tracker. The report says OpenShell 0.0.26 may fail to enforce its Landlock filesystem policy on tested setups, leaving parts of the host filesystem exposed to tampering by the AI agent. Anyone relying on OpenShell for containment should review the tracker and verify whether Landlock is actually active on their own system.

In which John Green, Hank Green, and Emily Graslie teach you about the Anthropocene, an unofficial geological era that covers the last century or so, in which humanity has made massive progress. We've discovered the Higgs-Boson particle, and awesome electric cars, and amazing smartphones. So all this collective learning and progress has been good for everyone, right? Maybe not. We'll look at some of the pros and cons of all this "progress," including environmental impact, changes in the way people live and work, and political changes and wars that come along with the modern world. We've come a long way, but there's a long way to go. Crash Course will also take a look at what's going to happen in the near future. If we manage to make our way through the coming bottlenecks, we could be OK in coming centuries. Don't get too hopeful, though. The Sun will eventually die, and the Earth will be destroyed, and later the universe will eventually experience heat death. But we won't talk about those downers until next week.

Hi, I’m Earth 🌎 and I need your help! Every day, we use a lot of energy ⚡, but not all of it is good for the planet. Some types of energy pollute and make me sick, while others are clean and renewable.
🔋 Dirty Energy: Comes from coal, oil, and gas, and pollutes the air.
☀️ Clean Energy: Like solar and wind power, doesn’t pollute and never runs out.
💡 How can you help?
✅ Walk or ride your bike to school 🚶🚴♂️
✅ Use the stairs instead of the elevator 🏃♂️
✅ Take showers instead of baths 🚿
If we all make small changes, we can protect nature and the environment 🌿. You can make a difference! 💙

https://noahnationadventures.com K12 3Rd Grade School is Noah's 2nd year in this school, due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Previously he went to another school called Connections Academy, who offered an online education from grades Kindergarten to twelve grade.
K12 is a for-profit education company that sells online schooling and curricula. K12 is an education management organization that provides online education designed as an alternative to traditional "brick and mortar" education for public school students from kindergarten to 12th grade.
K12 has schools all over the United States, so transferring to a different state is easy and they will connect you and your parent to the local school to join in any activities that the school has to offer.

Here’s a quick video to help with the present perfect of a few special verbs. This tense is used to say things have happened or haven’t happened or someone has done or hasn’t done something.
There are some other verbs that will change differently known as irregulars. But we’ll go over those in a different video.
Please like the video and share with others who could benefit. More Spanish lessons coming.

Improved math is a channel created to provide additional instruction on essential math concepts. I’m passionate about math and I know first-hand how important math concepts are in the real world.
Teachers, parents, guardians, homeschoolers, and students can use these videos to help reinforce math skills. These math videos are designed to help teach yourself math or provide self-study math tools to assist when additional instruction is needed. Teaching math and learning math has changed the way many students learn in this virtual environment and during the pandemic. Having on-demand math videos can provide math tutoring needed when children are not able to get help from their teachers after school hours or when trying to do math at home.
The library of math tutorials that I create can also be used as supplemental instructional material for homeschool math. Each full-length video comes with a subsequent knowledge check or math practice problems which serve as a virtual math topic worksheet to test your understanding of each skill. These videos can be paused to work out the problems on your own, then unpaused to check your answers. All of these videos can be found under the Knowledge Check playlist.
I also have a library of shorter videos (less than 1 minute in length - shorts) that are quick math tips and tricks on basic math topics. Some of these short math help videos include problems that you can work on yourself and submit your answers in the comments. They are all listed under my Math Tips and Tricks playlist.
Improved math is creating more videos every day to cover topics from 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, and 7th-grade math. The videos focus on fractions, basic math operations, geometry, and ratios but more topics are being added all the time. If there is a specific topic you would like to see covered, drop me a comment in one of my videos and let me know!
Free math help videos will be posted every Thursday and Friday. For additional math resources, check out my math help website at improvedmath.com where I post math worksheets and answers along with additional context on math basics.
Thanks for watching my channel.
Students investigate the property dependence between liquid and solid interfaces and determine observable differences in how liquids react to different solid surfaces. They compare copper pennies and plastic "coins" as the two test surfaces. Using an eye dropper to deliver various fluids onto the surfaces, students determine the volume and mass of a liquid that can sit on the surface. They use rulers, scales, equations of volume and area, and other methods of approximation and observation, to make their own graphical interpretations of trends. They apply what they learned to design two super-surfaces (from provided surface treatment materials) that are capable of holding the most liquid by volume and by mass. Cost of materials is a parameter in their design decisions.
