Song Lyrics:
Come along with me, and let's sing about e,
the letter that follows the fourth letter d.
How many words in this song will there be
that begin with the excellent fifth letter e?

Emma the emu and Ellie the elephant
enjoy being friends at the zoo.
Ellie eats peanuts, and Emma eats insects,
and each one eats fruits and grass, too.

Come along with me, and let's sing about e,
the letter that follows the fourth letter d.
How many words in this song will there be
that begin with the excellent fifth letter e?

Edith the eagle laid eight eagle eggs
and on them 'til spring, took a seat.
The eggs all hatched early. Their feathers were curly!
Lots of peeping and cheeping,
no time for any sleeping—
the eight hungry eagles wanted something to eat!

Come along with me, let's sing about e,
the letter that follows the fourth letter d.
How many words in this song will there be
that begin with the excellent fifth letter e?
That begin with the excellent fifth letter e!

"Shawna's 3D Shapes" (See below for lyrics)

Your child will enjoy singing along to "Shawna's 3D Shapes" as Shawna sings about six three-dimensional shapes (the sphere, cube, rectangular prism, cone, cylinder, and pyramid) and points out common objects in which these shapes can be seen. You see these six shapes everywhere, now you know them all by name!

About Us:
ABCmouse.com is an award-winning website that uses a variety of activities, including these songs, to help children build a strong foundation for future academic success. Song Lyrics:

Let’s sing about three-dimensional shapes.
No two look the same.
We see these six shapes everywhere.
Let’s learn them all by name.

Let’s start with spheres,
like the Earth and the moon
And the sun in our sky of blue.
Balls are spheres that are lots of fun—
Oranges and marbles are, too.

There are six sides on each cube you find,
And each side is a square.
Sugar and blocks can be shaped like cubes,
Like the ice cubes in your glass... there!
Let’s sing about three-dimensional shapes.
No two look the same.
We see these six shapes everywhere.
Let’s learn them all by name.

Rectangular prisms have six sides.
I can think of quite a few,
Like a shoe box, a train car,
a long stick of butter,
A brick, and a suitcase, too.
With a circle on the bottom
and a point at the top,
A cone is a shape you’ll see.
Party hats and teepees are shaped like cones,
And so is a green pine tree!

Let’s sing about three-dimensional shapes.
No two look the same.
We see these six shapes everywhere.
Let’s learn them all by name.

Cylinders have circles at each end,
Like a soup can or paper towel roll.
Drinking straws and glasses have cylinder shapes,
And so does our school flagpole
What shape has three or more triangular sides
And a point at the top? Can you guess?
The base can be a square, or a different shape.
Say, “A pyramid” and I’ll say, “Yes!”
Let’s sing about three-dimensional shapes.
No two look the same.
We see these six shapes everywhere.
Now you know them all by name!

How to apply the quadratic formula to a quadratic with fractions
How to apply the quadratic formula to a quadratic with fractions Teacherflix 7 Views • 2 years ago

👉 Learn how to solve quadratic equations using the quadratic formula. A quadratic equation is an equation whose highest power on its variable(s) is 2. The quadratic formula is a formula which can be used to find the roots of (solve) a quadratic equation.

The quadratic formula is given by x = (-b +/- sqrt(b^2 - 4ac)) / 2a, where a is the coefficient of the quadratic term (x^2), b is the coefficient of the linear term (x) and c is the constant term. Thus, to solve a quadratic equation using the quadratic formula, first identify the 'a', 'b' and the 'c' of the quadratic equation and plug them into the quadratic formula and evaluate accordingly.

Note that if the 'a', 'b', or/and the 'c' of the quadratic equation is/are fraction(s), then it can be simpler to evaluate the quadratic equation by first getting rid of the fraction(s) by first multiplying through by the LCM of the denominator(s) of the fraction(s) before extracting a, b and c.
