Educational video for children to learn how certain diseases are caused and what medicines there are to fight them. The immune system is the body's defense force against diseases. It is in charge of recognizing and eliminating viruses, and other pathogenic microorganisms that may cause diseases. Sometimes, our immune system alone is not enough to protect us from certain microorganisms; and that is the reason we get sick. This is when we need medicine to relieve the symptoms and tackle the disease. Also, we can prevent many diseases (viruses) thanks to vaccines which prepare our immune system. Remember that the best treatment to be in good health is to have a balanced diet and do exercise. Excellent resource for elementary school.

Nearly 200 years ago, Alexis St. Martin was shot in the stomach. He was saved by local army doctor William Beaumont but had to live out his remaining years with a gaping hole in the stomach -- allowing Beaumont to learn a lot about how human digestion works. So today we're going to walk you through that process. We'll cover how mechanical and chemical digestion starts in the mouth and continues in the stomach, where it’s pummeled by acids and enzymes and turned into chyme. We will also go over the stomach’s cephalic, gastric, and intestinal phases of digestive regulation.

Today, we’re going to take a closer look at borders and the stories they tell. When we look at a map, the shapes we’re seeing can seem so permanent, but a map is just a snapshot of the Earth at a particular time, and by looking a countries shape (and how it has changed across time) we can learn so much about how power moves and the ebb and flow of conflict. We’ll talk about the different types of borders, and power dynamics at play in Armenia and Azerbaijan and even look to the oceans as we explore conflict in the South China Sea.

00:03 1. Pronombres Personales
Los pronombres personales identifican quién realiza la acción en una oración y cambian según la persona, número y género.

Ejemplos destacados por persona:

• Yo: Yo como un sándwich. Yo juego a videojuegos.
• Tú: Tú lees un libro. Tú juegas al ajedrez.
• Él/Ella: Él juega al fútbol. Ella escucha música.
• Nosotros/Nosotras: Nosotros vamos al cine. Nosotros jugamos al fútbol.
• Vosotros/Vosotras: Vosotros vais al colegio. Vosotros jugáis al béisbol.
• Ellos/Ellas: Ellos corren en el parque. Ellos bailan en la fiesta.


📌 Consejo: En español, usamos diferentes pronombres para "él" y "ella" según el género, y diferenciamos entre "nosotros/nosotras" y "vosotros/vosotras" dependiendo del género del grupo.

03:24 2. Pronombres Posesivos
Los pronombres posesivos nos permiten expresar posesión o pertenencia. Cambian según la persona, género y número.

Ejemplos destacados por pronombre:

• Mi/Mis: Este es mi perro. Mis libros están en la mesa.
• Tu/Tus: ¿Es este tu libro? Tus zapatos son muy bonitos.
• Su/Sus (para él/ella): Este es su coche. Sus flores son hermosas.
• Nuestro/Nuestra/Nuestros/Nuestras: Nuestra casa es grande. Nuestros amigos están en la fiesta.
• Vuestro/Vuestra/Vuestros/Vuestras: Vuestro jardín es amplio. Vuestras ideas son brillantes.
• Su/Sus (para ellos/ellas): Su coche está en el garaje. Sus hijos están jugando.

📌 Consejo: Recuerda que en español los pronombres posesivos deben concordar en género y número con el objeto al que hacen referencia, no con el dueño.

05:45 3. Pronombres Reflexivos
Los pronombres reflexivos se usan cuando el sujeto realiza la acción sobre sí mismo. Son esenciales para hablar de actividades personales y cotidianas.

Ejemplos destacados por pronombre:

• Me: Me veo en el espejo. Me preparo para el examen.
• Te: Te relajas en casa. Te preparas para la reunión.
• Se (para él/ella): Él se lava las manos. Ella se viste rápidamente.
