Fui Al Mercado - Las Canciones del Zoo 4 | El Reino Infantil
Título: Fui Al Mercado
Autor/Compositor: Autor desconocido
Intérprete: Dúo Tiempo de Sol
For students to feel motivated, they must see the work they are doing in the classroom as interesting, valuable, and useful to their present lives. Teachers should consider having lesson plans and discussions about topics prevalent in students’ lives, having students set academic and non-academic goals, and challenging students to write about why what they are learning is relevant.
Coverage of whole-child approaches to learning is supported in part by a grant from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Education Week retains sole editorial control over the content of this coverage.
This video reviews Cognitive Academic Language—the English that should be taught, learned, and acquired in every K-12, English Language Institute, and university classroom. It explains what is difficult in reading for English Language Learners and provides suggestions for what you can do to address those needs in your classroom. This video is the second in a series about teaching Language Arts to ELLs; video 1 is an introduction, video 3 covers teaching writing skills, and video 4 covers teaching speaking and listening skills.
What are the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts/Literacy? How are they different?
In this April 29, 2013 presentation to parents in Oak Park, Illinois, Dr. Sandra Alberti discusses the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts/Literacy and how they are different.

B. Activity
Students will be divided into two groups. Group 1 will be the boys and Group 2 will be the girls. Each group will guess and descried the picture that the teacher will show. Every correct description is good for points. The more pictures they guess the more pints they gain.
C. Analysis
The students will stay in their groups. The teacher will ask comprehensive questions based on the answers in the activity earlier.
D. Abstraction
Passive and Active Voice
Passive and Active voice are called 2 special forms of verbs.
The Active voice is called “Normal Voice”
The Passive voice is called “Less Usual”
Voice is the quality of a verb that shows whether the subject is the doer or the receiver of the action.
Active Voice – is used to indicate that the subject of the sentence is the doer of the action.
Examples:
Mom read the novel in one day.
Tom painted the entire house.
Passive Voice – is used to indicate that the subject in the sentence is the receiver instead of being the doer of the action.
Examples:
The house was remodeled by the homeowner.
The report has been sent by me.
Changing Active voice to Passive voice
Active Voice : The guest enjoyed the party.
Passive Voice: The Party was enjoyed by the guest.
Active Voice : They are painting the walls.
Passive Voice: The walls are being painted by them.
E. Application
In a ½ sheet of paper, change the Active voice into Passive voice.
1. I have lost the key.
2. The choir really enjoys the piece.
3. The science class viewed the comet.
4. The director will give you the instructions.
5. The kangaroos carried her baby in her pouch.
Valuing

2. The car has been fixed by the mechanic.
3. The money was counted by the cashier.
4. The dog chased ball.
5. The police have arrested the thieves.
VII. Assignment
Direction: Differentiate Active Voice from Passive Voice in 2 sentences only. Give 3 examples for each voice.
As an introduction to analyzing sinusoidal waves, students learn how to use a Jupyter Notebook. They learn how to identify the frequency, wavelength, amplitude, period, and phase of a simple sinusoidal waveform. As they learn how to label the parts and properties of the waves, they connect these characteristics of waves to various real-world wave examples such as ocean waves, visible light, and sound. Students will examine a mathematical model of a sinusoidal waveform and connect each variable to its corresponding wave property. They will manipulate each variable of the model using Python code in a Jupyter Notebook and examine the effect of changing each variable on the resulting waveform.
This engineering curriculum aligns to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).

Students learn how to create two-dimensional representations of three-dimensional objects by utilizing orthographic projection techniques. They build shapes using cube blocks and then draw orthographic and isometric views of those shapes—which are the side views, such as top, front, right—with no depth indicated. Then working in pairs, one blindfolded partner describes a shape by feel alone as the other partner draws what is described. A worksheet is provided. This activity is part of a multi-activity series towards improving spatial visualization skills.

India is advancing a sovereign artificial intelligence push to build models tailored to its linguistic and administrative needs. Bengaluru-based Sarvam AI has launched two tools: Sarvam Vision, an optical character recognition system designed to read complex paper records and scanned documents, and Bulbul, a text-to-speech model supporting more than 35 voices across 11 Indian languages, with expansion planned. Sarvam says its OCR model scored 84.3% accuracy on one benchmark, outperforming Google’s Gemini on that specific test. The initiative is part of a wider national strategy backed by government funding, with other Indian firms developing AI tools across sectors. Officials say the programme aims to reduce reliance on foreign systems. Palki Sharma tells you more.

The world's roundest object helps solve the longest running problem in measurement -- how to define the kilogram.
Support Veritasium on Patreon: http://bit.ly/VePatreon
A kilogram isn't what it used to be. Literally. The original name for it was the 'grave', proposed in 1793 but it fell victim to the French Revolution like its creator, Lavoisier. So begins the tale of the most unusual SI unit. The kilogram is the only base unit with a prefix in its name, and the only one still defined by a physical artifact, the international prototype kilogram or IPK.
But the problem with this definition has long been apparent. The IPK doesn't seem to maintain its mass compared to 40 similar cylinders minted at the same time. The goal is therefore to eliminate the kilogram's dependence on a physical object. Two main approaches are being considered to achieve this end: the Avogadro Project and the Watt Balance.
The Avogadro project aims to redefine Avogadro's constant (currently defined by the kilogram -- the number of atoms in 12 g of carbon-12) and reverse the relationship so that the kilogram is precisely specified by Avogadro's constant. This method required creating the most perfect sphere on Earth. It is made out of a single crystal of silicon 28 atoms. By carefully measuring the diameter, the volume can be precisely specified. Since the atom spacing of silicon is well known, the number of atoms in a sphere can be accurately calculated. This allows for a very precise determination of Avogadro's constant.
Special thanks to Katie Green, Dr. David Farrant, the CSIRO, and the National Measurment Institute for their help. Thanks also to Nessy Hill for filming and reviewing earlier drafts of this video.
There is debate as to whether this is truly the roundest object ever created. The Gravity Probe-B rotors are also spherical with very low tolerances such that they may in fact be rounder.

A simple phosphorus cycle explanation
Phosphorus is not found in the atmosphere. It is important for the production of ATP, DNA, and membrane.
Phosphorus follows a biogeochemical cycle that ensures the earth always has phosphorus and phosphate.
Substances like phosphorus, carbon, and nitrogen move from living organisms to abiotic factors This cycling from living organism to abiotic factor is a biogeochemical cycle.

Young minds possess immense potential for scientific-humanitarian progress, waiting to be unlocked by the right teaching methodologies. AI catalyzes this progress - it marks a paradigm shift in the way our youth will work, innovate, and solve millions of critical societal problems. Yet, an acute dichotomy exists – the generation that can best use these tools to drive solutions also understand them the least. This talk presents the AI education dilemma – the missing pillar that, if established, can skyrocket AI-driven impact. Lessons from ISEF, building AI educational tools with Dr. Touretsky of Carnegie Mellon University, and developing curriculum handbooks with ReadyAI are compiled to reveal the solution: unifying foundational principles and intuition-driven tinkering. I'm an aspiring deep learning researcher working towards mastery both in the field and beyond. My mission is to leverage artificial intelligence to create a tangible impact on difficult, real-world problems. I'm currently building better knowledge distillation methods to expand neural network reach in low-compute settings for those who need it most - accelerating ML impact on critical real-world problems in the 21st century, in addition to working on building AI education tools and guidebooks for students and educators. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
