Multiplying by multiples of 10 is simple to do.
First count the number of zeros in the number you are multiply by, then move the decimal place of the number being multiplied the same number of times.
Because we are multiplying by numbers ten and above the answer is going to be bigger, and so the decimal place moves to the right. To donate to the tecmath channel: https://paypal.me/tecmath?locale.x=en_AU To donate to the tecmath channel: https://paypal.me/tecmath?locale.x=en_AU

In this math lesson, we learn to use division to convert fractions into their decimal form. This video uses the rapid short division method, where we simply divide the denominator into the numerator (top divided by bottom).
This math video lesson also looks at recurring and non recurring decimals that can result from calculating fractions.
It is also a similar method we use to convert fractions to decimals and then percentages - to do this we convert the fraction to the decimal as explained, then we multiply by 100 to change to a percentage.

How Many Faces, Edges And Vertices Does A Rectangular Prism Have?
Here we’ll look at how to work out the faces, edges and vertices of a rectangular prism.
We’ll start by counting the faces, these are the flat surfaces. A rectangular prism has 6 faces altogether - all rectangular in shape.
Next we’ll work out how many edges the rectangular prism has, which are where two faces meet. A rectangular proven has 12 edges.
Next we’ll count the corners of the rectangular prism (the corners). Altogether it has 8.

How Many Faces, Edges And Vertices Does A Triangular Pyramid Have?
Here we’ll look at how to work out the faces, edges and vertices of a triangular pyramid.
We’ll start by counting the faces, these are the flat surfaces that make the 3D shape. A triangular pyramid has 4 faces altogether - all triangles.
Next we’ll work out how many edges the tetrahedron has, which are where two faces meet. A triangular pyramid has 6 edges.
Next we’ll count the corners of the tetrahedron (the corners). 4 altogether.
