Six, seven, eight, nine, ten,

Why did you let it go?
Because it bit my finger so.

A massive asteroid named Apophis could come dangerously close to Earth in 2029. It’s bigger than the Empire State Building and powerful enough to wipe out entire cities. This compilation explores the world’s most powerful natural disasters and space threats - from killer asteroids and megaquakes to waking supervolcanoes and tsunamis that could drown continents. Some of them already happened, others are just waiting for the right moment.

Astronomers have finally cracked one of the biggest cosmic mysteries — those strange red dots glowing in deep space. For years, scientists couldn’t explain what they were. Were they galaxies? Giant stars? Or something entirely new? Now, powerful telescopes like the James Webb have revealed that these glowing red spots might be some of the earliest galaxies ever formed — ancient and massive beyond belief. This discovery could completely rewrite our understanding of how the universe began and what’s still out there waiting to be found.

While my videos might be helpful, you should also practice Spanish in context. That’s why I have been writing books to help learners.

One of my favorites is Cuyes in Crisis. It’s a reader for Novice learners that has a lot of repetition of high frequency language.

And if you don’t understand something, there is a glossary at the end of the book!

Check out Cuyes en Crisis at:

Here's a video Lucas and I made. I hope you enjoy it.

It took us a LONG time to make. The easy part was finding a way to become cartoons. The hard part will be turning back.

You might notice the song we sang as loosely based on the song "Que llueva que llueva", which is somewhat similar in melody to "It's raining it's pouring".

There are a LOT of versions of "Que llueva que llueva" out there.

Here are some favorites of Lucas and me:

You might notice different accents and not always a consistency on the melody!

1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsD9fHN0Y8U (South America)

2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvguqctRn8M (Spain)

3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0rBpbq_L_I (South America)

4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTBWGBKokGg (Spain)

5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poJX5QIzJYA (with gestures)

6. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6yuCpYQXOU (kids)

Another interesting detail is that in Spain and Mexico, they sing:

While in other places in South America they sing,

So interesting to see these regional differences as the song has evolved differently over time!

Here’s a quick video where we learn to how to use the conditional with -IR verbs in Spanish.

We can use the same formula for many -AR, and -ER verbs. Of course there will be some irregulars, which we talk about in another video.

The conditional is a tense or mood used to say something would happen or someone would do something.
Please like the video and share with others who could benefit. More Spanish lessons coming.

"¿Tienes alguna alergia o intolerancia?"
