Its time for some more suffixes for kids. In this video, we talk about the suffixes -er and -ness.

We know that suffixes are added to the end of words to change their meaning and to form new words. So, let's see what these suffixes can do.

-er

When we add -er to a word it makes a word that means a person who does something. For example:

• Painter
• Singer
• Player

- ness

When we add -ness to a word it means ‘the act of’. Which means that something is being done with some kind of quality. For example:

• Greatness
• Kindness
• Happiness

So that’s a brief lesson on the suffixes -er and -ness. A good storybook would be perfect for the kid to spot out words ending with these suffixes. Help the kid find these words and choose a storybook of the kid’s choice. The kid needs to be interested in what he is reading, only then he/she will be interested to find out words from this book.

En esta nueva clase de español aprenderemos como manejarte con éxito en tres situaciones cotidianas en español.

En la primera situación se muestra una persona alquila un coche, tiene un diálogo con la empleada de la agencia de alquiler y tiene que lidiar con los documentos y trámites habituales.

En la segunda situación veremos el cambio de hora en España y te dejaremos algunos consejos de cómo superarlo con éxito.

Por último nuestra protagonista tiene alergia y tiene que pedir algo en la farmacia que le alivie los síntomas.
