The Bicycle: Great inventions that changed history.
Hello friends! Welcome to a new HAppy Learning Video! Today, in our section great inventions of history, weโre going to get to knowโฆ the bicycle.
The bicycle is one of the most fun means of transport there is! Also, it is very ecological, and very healthy! Since when we ride a bicycle, we do physical exercise!
Butโฆ do you know who, and when the bicycle was invented? No? Well, letโs find out!
The truth is, that alike many other inventions, the bicycle was invented in various phases and it was various people who intervened in its evolution until reaching the bicycle we know today!
Here you can see the first bicycle in history! It was invented by Karl Drais in 1817 but, it doesnโt look a lot like contemporary bikes, it didnโt have pedals and you had to push it with feet on the ground.
In 1861, the Frenchman Ernest Michaux thought of putting pedals on the front wheel, but because it didnโt balance correctly, people fell off and his idea didnโt succeed. But it was useful so in 1873, James Starley, an English inventor, would manufacture a bicycle with the front wheel a lot bigger than the back one. Although the falls from so high up were dangerous, he made it easier to drive them, so in 1873, Thomas Steven commenced the first trip around the world. He took three years to finish it.
In 1885, John Kemp Starley, James Starleyโs nephew invented a safe bicycle. Because it had breaks, and was a lot lower, falls were less frequent and less dangerous. Exactly, it was more secureโฆ he had created a contemporary bicycle. From this moment on, the bicycle became famous throughout the whole world. And it started to be used for Cirque shows, to travel or just to do sports. Butโฆ the bicycleโs history hasnโt ended, there are still new bikes being invented, like mountain bikes, race bikes, electric or some which wonโt move no matter how fast you pedal, like at the gymโฆ There are a lot of curious bicycles, like all of theseโฆ Itโs clear that the bicycle is an invention which runs smoothly! So everyone letโs ride a bike!

Educational video for children to learn how living things are classified into five different kingdoms: Animal, Plant, Fungi, Monera, Protista. Animals are multicellular beings, heterotrophic and almost all of them can move on their own. Whereas plants are multicellular beings, autotrophic and do not move on their own. Fungi can be both unicellular and multicellular, heterotrophic, and they do not move on their own. The Monera kingdom is characterized by the simplest and most primitive forms of life and is made up of unicellular organisms. In the Protista kingdom, also called Protoctista kingdom, the organisms can be unicellular, such as protozoa and many types of algae, or multicellular, like many other kinds of algae.
This is a very useful and interesting video resource for children to learn about the most important aspects of living things. It is an excellent video for early childhood education.

You've probably heard of the big bang theory at some point. But do you know what it actually is? In The Big Bang Theory for Kids, you will learn what exactly this idea for how the universe began came to be in the first place. You will also learn a little about our own galaxy and solar system along the way.
The big bang theory was first suggested by a cosmologist and priest named Georges Lemaรฎtre in the 1920s. He estimates that the universe started out as a single atom at the beginning of time. Rather than by an explosion, the universe simply started to expand in a fraction of a second due to matter and energy. Over time, the expansion slowed, but Lemaรฎtre and many other scientists believe the universe is still expanding today.
The force of gravity plays a huge role in everything when it comes to the universe. All the objects in space form when particles and gases from the universe's expansion pull together (through gravity). When small amounts of dust and gas pull together, planets form and start to orbit the star. Another force called dark energy or dark matter is also important. We don't have a lot of information about it, but scientists think it's what causes cosmos apart faster and faster.
We hope you and your student(s) enjoyed learning about this cool idea! If you want to learn even more, head over to our website and download one of our many free lesson plans about the universe, full of activities, worksheets, and more!

Educational video to learn numbers up to 20 in a fun and easy way. Ideal for Preschool and Kindergarten!
Numbers will form the basic foundation for your kidโs learning process. These are the first steps towards academic learning and this foundation needs to be very strong if you want your kid to grasp the upcoming concepts quickly and very firmly.
Start with the number zero. Use some of the most common things around to use as examples to explain the concept of zero. Zero means โnothingโ. So, if there were six ducks before but now they are all gone what do we say how many ducks are there now? Yes, we say zero. This will clear the concept of zero in the kidโs mind that when we say zero it means that there is no quantity of the particular thing present.
Kids can learn anywhere and anytime, it all depends on how you use your environment to bring out some lessons from it. So, you must have been in an elevator with your kid multiple times. So why not use the floors as a counting lesson. Yes, itโs very easy and your kid will have some fun too. Count all the floors till which the elevator travels to. This will help the kid to memorize numbers in a more natural and easy way.
Just like this, you can plan some other fun activities to help the kid learn numbers easy and fast. Pick up fun things from your own surrounding and it would make the lessons much more interesting for the kid.
