Chain Reaction in Nuclear Fission: When slow neutrons are bombarded on uranium, each uranium nucleus is broken in to two almost equal parts and along with it enormous energy and two or three trash neutrons are emitted. If the conditions are favorable, these neutrons take part in the fission. This leads to a chain of nuclear fissions which continues till the whole of the Uranium is consumed. Thus the energy produced keep on multiplying. We have seen that about 200 MeV MeV- mega electron volts of energy is released due to fission of 1 Uranium nucleus. In this chain reaction, the number of nuclei undergoing fission increases very rapidly, hence the energy produced acquires an enormous amount very soon."The chain reaction is a series of nuclear fissions in which the neutrons produced in each fission cause additional fissions."This chain reaction liberate tremendous amount of energy within short interval of time. But sustaining a self--propagating chain reaction is not easy in practice, because the progressive chain reaction is inhibited due to the following reasons.A Ordinary uranium consists of three isotopes 92U238 92 Uranium 238, 92U236 92 Uranium 236 and 92U235 92 Uranium 235. The major part of ordinary uranium is the isotope 92U238 92 Uranium 238 the remaining are rare. Now, 92U238 92 Uranium 238 can be fissioned only with fast neutrons 1 MeV while 92U235 can be fissioned with slow as well as slow and fast neutrons. Neutrons having energy less than 1 MeV are absorbed by 92U238 through these low energy neutrons can take part is the fission of 92U235 but the probability of their absorption by U238 is much more. Thus the fresh neutrons released in the fission of ordinary uranium being absorbed by U238 are not able continue the chain reaction. This difficulty can be removed in the following two ways: The lighter isotope U235 can be separated from the ordinary uranium by diffusion method. The fission of U235 is now possible by neutrons of any energy high or low. So chain reaction continuous as shows in above. The second way is to slow down the neutrons by any method. So that their energy remains 0.03 eV This can be achieved with help of moderators, which reduce the speed of neutrons very rapidly. Graphite and heavy water are good moderators. The second difficulty in maintaining the chain reaction is that the fast neutrons released by the fission of U235 travel a distance of about 10 centimeter in the substance before they are slow down and fission other nuclei. Therefore, to continue the chain--reaction, the size of the fissionable substance should be bigger than a certain critical size.

Hello Friends! Welcome to a new Happy Learning video.
Today, we’re going to travel to Ancient Egypt to get to know the mysteries of their pyramids and mummies. But don’t be scared! because they don’t do anything.
As you already know, Ancient Egyptians believed in life after death, that’s why they built the pyramids, which were the pharaohs’ tombs. During their construction, there were thousands of workers for a very long time. Before, we believed that they were built by slaves, but thanks to archaeologist's work, we know that they were built by citizens that worked for salt, wheat or barley. These workers were organised and directed by architects and engineers that made sure everything was calculated and done properly.
Today, we see that pyramids are old, but when they had just been built, they were covered in beautiful white limestone and the tip of the pyramid was golden. I’m sure they were beautiful.
Inside the pyramids, there are tunnels, chambers and secret passageways. And this was where they left the pharaoh’s mummified bodies.
But do you know what a mummy is? A mummy is a person’s or animal’s body that is kept after death. Because Ancient Egyptians believed in life after death, they wanted to preserve their bodies, but it was a very expensive process so only pharaohs and some noblemen were able to do it.
The mummification process took 70 days.
First, the body was washed and all its interior organs, except the heart were removed. Then, the body was filled with linen and covered in salt for about 50 days.
After this time, the body was wrapped in bandages and placed in a luxurious sarcophagus. Thanks to this mummification process, many mummies are in a perfect state today, and have allowed us to learn so many things about Ancient Egypt.
Goodbye friends! oh! and don’t forget to subscribe to Happy Learning TV.

What are you waiting for? Hi kids, today we are going to meet the bear, a very special mammal, who is very cute.
As you can see in the video the majority of bears have a very big and chubby body, with short legs and a long snout.
Like most mammals, its body is covered in hair. A bear’s fur can vary a lot in colour. It can go from snow white like a polar bear, to Brown like this grizzly bear, or to White and black like these friendly panda bears.
Although bears are very heavy and big animals, they are very capable of climbing trees with a lot of agility, however this is not always the case. They are also very competent swimmers.
Bears are omnivorous animals; they eat meat and vegetables, like us humans, however they are much greedier. The panda bear, for example, spends twelve hours a day eating bamboo and we all know how much the majority of bears love honey. To obtain most of the food they eat, they use their very developed sense of smell, it’s even better than a dogs.
There is a very special characteristic that bears have that converts them into a very interesting animal.
When the cold arrives in the freezing winter the majority of bears hibernate. They spend every day sleeping, they don’t wake up, they don’t eat, they don’t sleep, they dot drink and they don’t even poo… They live of the fat they accumulated during spring, summer and autumn. That is why they are so greedy, because they have to eat enough during these seasons, so that they can sleep all Winter.
Like all mammals, bears are viviparous, that is to say they are born form their mothers womb and the baby bears are also born without hair, teeth and are blind.
Bears are hunted for their fur, as coats and carpets can be made from them, and this is why they are in danger of extinction. If we don’t take care of them they can completely disappear from the face of the earth or they would only be able to remain in zoos.
An ability that bears have that always catches everyone’s attention is that they can stand on their back legs. This can be a very terrifying show as they can appear huge when they do so.
The most common bear is the grizzly bear; they can measure up to approximately three meters and weigh about 1477 pounds. It’s a lot, isn’t it?
Well know you now a bit more a bout bears, and even though they are not very lovable, they are super interesting!

Prove that 2+2=5 | Breaking the rules of mathematics.
The one of the viral math equation is 2+2=5. It is not usual mathematical result that 2+2=5. However, it is easy to prove that 2+2=5. In this video, I show the solution of 2+2=5 through a funny viral math trick. Two plus two equals five is very common math trick, I am representing here in an attractive way of explanations. It is comparable to 0% financing on the car loan (don't take it seriously, I am kidding). I made this viral math equation and you try to find out where is the mistake in 2+2=5 math.
I am launching a new series of video related to mathematics by the playlist 'Fun of Mathematics'. Video related to funny mathematics related things will be uploaded on every Tuesday at 2 pm Central European time.
