This physics video tutorial provides a basic introduction into momentum. It explains how to calculate the average force exerted on object using Newton's 2nd Law of motion. In addition, it explains why the conservation of linear momentum occurs for every collision using newton's laws of motion and action reaction forces. Momentum is the product of mass and velocity. It's a vector quantity that contains both magnitude and direction. Force is defined as the rate of change of momentum per unit time. This video also contains an example problem that asks you to calculate the force exerted by a water hose given the speed of the fluid and the mass flow rate. This video provides all of the equations and formulas needed to solve all of the practice problems presented in this video.

This video tutorial provides an introduction into karnaugh maps and combinational logic circuits. It explains how to take the data from a truth table and transfer it to a K-map. It explains how to use the karnaugh map to write a function using switching algebra. It also explains how to draw a combinational circuit using logic gates such as AND / OR gates given the function. Examples include k-maps with 4 variables and with 3 variables in the horizontal orientation as well as the vertical orientation. It also explains how to draw the Karnaugh map directly from a function with boolean algebra.

This long division math youtube video tutorial explains how to divide big numbers the easy way. It explains how to perform long division with 2-digit divisors with remainders. This video contains plenty of examples and practice problems. It's useful for beginners and for kids in 4th grade or 3rd grade. My recommendation is to make a list of the multiples of the divisor from 1 to 10 and use it perform the long division problem. The video will explain everything.

We want to encourage people around the world to donate online to their country's veterans' charities.
These are tough times. As Remembrance Day and Veterans day comes up, because of Covid-19, collectors are unable to do face to face collections.

British Veterans of the first world war had trusted their nation when the war had started in 1914.
But after 1918, it seemed like the promise of a Land fit for heroes was not a reality.

Learn about important information in retelling a story and other reading comprehension lessons in the FREE Khan Academy Kids app! https://go.learn.khanacademy.o....rg/khanacademy/YouTu

Peck retells a story, but did he get the key details right? When retelling a story, it's important to include the important things that describe what happened.

Visit us at http://www.khankids.org to learn more about Khan Academy Kids, a free educational app for preschool through 2nd grade available on Apple, Google Play, and Amazon app stores.

You can also access other videos on our Reading Comprehension playlist here: http://khan.co/KhanKids-ReadingComprehension.

Courses on Khan Academy are always 100% free. Start practicingโ€”and saving your progressโ€”now: https://www.khanacademy.org/ma....th/algebra/x2f8bb115

Learn about the square root symbol (the principal root) and what it means to find a square root. Also learn how to solve simple square root equations.

Practice this lesson yourself on KhanAcademy.org right now:
https://www.khanacademy.org/math/cc-eighth-grade-math/cc-8th-numbers-operations/cc-8th-roots/e/square_roots?utm_source=YT&utm_medium=Desc&utm_campaign=8thgrade

8th grade on Khan Academy: 8th grade is all about tackling the meat of algebra and getting exposure to some of the foundational concepts in geometry. If you get this stuff (and you should because you're incredibly persistent), the rest of your life will be easy. Okay, maybe not your whole life, but at least your mathematical life. Seriously, if you really get the equations and functions stuff we cover here, most of high school will feel intuitive, even relaxing. (Content was selected for this grade level based on a typical curriculum in the United States.)

About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

For free. For everyone. Forever. #YouCanLearnAnything
