Its time to learn the alphabet and today we are going to learn letter Q. To understand letter Q the kid must know its sound, how it is pronounced and how it is written.

The letter ‘Q’ has one sound ‘keh’ as in ‘quit’. Q starts a lot of words. Let’s look at some easy ones for beginner kids.

These are the words from things around the kid. It helps the kid to understand the words better and relate words with real life things. Use some more examples so that the kid learns more words.

How to write it?

It is a very simple letter to write. All it needs is a circle and a small line starting from the middle of the circle and a little outside the circle. It’s a very easy alphabet for the kid to learn to write. Just a little bit of practice and letter Q would become the child’s favorite letter.
