👉 Learn how to solve multi-step equations with variable on both sides of the equation. An equation is a statement stating that two values are equal. A multi-step equation is an equation which can be solved by applying multiple steps of operations to get to the solution.

To solve a multi-step equation, we first combine like terms by taking the variable terms to one side of the equality sign and the constant terms to the other side of the equation and evaluate them, then we can isolate the variable by multiplying both sides by the reciprocal of the coefficient of the variable.

The Principal Recovery Network is a club that no school leader wants to join. Yet when its members meet, they greet and joke with each other like family.

“If people saw us together, and if they knew why we gather, they’d think there’s something wrong with us,” quipped Andy McGill, the assistant principal at the rural West Liberty-Salem High School in West Liberty, Ohio.

In 2019, McGill came together with 21 other educators to form the PRN, a support and advocacy group for current and former school leaders who’ve survived and led their schools through the aftermath of a violent incident like a shooting.

Here, some of those school leaders discuss their experiences and their work as part of the PRN.

An oblique triangle is a triangle without a 90 degree angle.
The form for area for an oblique triangle equals 1/2 b * c (sin A)
The equation gives us a way to find the area of the triangle without needing to find the height of the triangle.
This means we can find the area of oblique triangles without needing to create right triangles.

London Bridge is Falling Down | Nursery Rhymes and Songs for Kids

London Bridge is one of the songs we remember from our childhood. There’s something about the tune and the lyrics that makes it so catchy. This song has a large number of versions. We have created our own story and characters to make it even more engaging.

Have you ever thought of the importance of learning through nursery rhyme songs? We believe that nursery rhymes are beneficial for language development. Listening to them, kids can easily learn new words and phrases. Apart from early literacy skills development, songs encourage kids’ love for music and singing. Playing nursery rhyme songs is also a fun way to support children’s communication with each other as well as with adults.

Here are the lyrics of the song so you and your children can sing along:

London Bridge is falling down,
Falling down, falling down.
London Bridge is falling down,
My fair lady.

Build it up with wood and clay,
Wood and clay, wood and clay.
Build it up with wood and clay,
My fair lady.

Wood and clay will wash away,
Wash away, wash away.
Wood and clay will wash away,
My fair lady.

Build it up with iron and steel,
Iron and steel, iron and steel.
Build it up with iron and steel,
My fair lady.

Iron and steel will bend and bow,
Bend and bow, bend and bow.
Iron and steel will bend and bow,
My fair lady.

Build it up with fresh sweet buns,
Fresh sweet buns, fresh sweet buns.
Build it up with fresh sweet buns,
My fair lady.

Take the buns and eat them up,
Eat them up, eat them up.
Take the buns and eat them up,
My fair lady.

Here's a prisoner I have got,
I have got, I have got.
Here's a prisoner I have got,
My fair lady.

What's the prisoner done to you,
Done to you, done to you?
He's eating up the fresh sweet buns,
My fair lady.

What'll you take to set him free,
Set him free, set him free?
One hundred pounds will set him free,
My fair lady.

One hundred pounds we have not got,
Have not got, have not got.
Then off to prison he must go,
My fair lady.

Set a man to watch all night,
Watch all night, watch all night.
Set a man to watch all night,
My fair lady.

Suppose the man should fall asleep,
Fall asleep, fall asleep?
Suppose the man should fall asleep,
My fair lady.

Then the prisoner will be free,
Will be free, will be free.
Then the prisoner will be free,
My fair lady.

Graphing a horizontal line of the form y=a where "a" is as easy as finding the value "a" on the y-axis and drawing a horizontal line at that location. It can be easy to confuse y=a with x=a, but remember that y=a is the equation for a horizontal line.
