An allele is different forms of the same gene which results in traits that look different.

A trait is a characteristic that can be passed from one generation to another.

The different forms of the same gene are the alleles
How about a couple more real-life examples

Eye color would be the trait
The different color of eyes would be the alleles

The trait is having hair

Black or blonde hair color

Your height is the trait
If you are Six feet or five feet tall

Allele different forms of the same trait.

👉 Learn how to add and subtract fractions whose denominators are not the same. Recall that when we want to add or subtract fractions having the same denominator, we add the numerators and retain the (common) denominator. This is different when the fractions have different denominators. When adding fractions with different denominators, we convert the fractions to equivalent fractions having the same denominator. This is achieved by finding the LCM of the different denominators (the least number that the denominators can divide without remainder). We then multiply the denominators by a number which will yield the LCM. You will also multiply the numerator by the same number with which you multiplied the denominator. Notice now that the fractions have the same denominator. We can now add or subtract the numerators retaining the common denominator.

What color is a banana? Duh, it’s yellow. But what is yellow? Now that you mention it, how do we see color in the first place? That’s the series of questions that led me to making this video. It started simple and took me down a rabbit hole of decoding our visual system. Turns out it’s way more interesting than I ever thought possible. You might even call it complex. In fact, it’s a wonder it even works. Biology… wow, right?
