This video walks you through 4 examples of how do you simplify ratios. When trying to find the simplest ratio, you need to lay out your factors for each number in your ratio. Once you identify the greatest common factor, you can divide your ratio numbers by that greatest common factor. The result is a ratio in its reduced or simplest form.

Improved math is creating more videos every day to cover topics from 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, and 7th-grade math. The videos focus on fractions, basic math operations, geometry, and ratios but more topics are being added all the time. This video walks you through how to round numbers to the nearest ten. First, identify what digit is in your tens spot. Next, evaluate the number in the ones spot which is to the right. If it is 5 or greater, you round the digit in the tens spot up. If it is 4 or lower, you round down (which is the same thing as it staying the same).

Jeg er vildt glad for at bruge tallinjer i mine matematiktimer.

De er super gode for børnene, og de hjælper med at visualisere tallene.
Samtidig er det også ret let at differentiere, så man kan ramme børnenes niveau... og ja, så gør det jo heller ikke noget, at det er sjovt at arbejde med.
