Anthropic Overtakes OpenAI on Revenue

In April 2026, Anthropic crossed thirty billion dollars in annualized revenue - passing OpenAI at roughly twenty-five billion for the first time in either company's history. Fifteen months earlier, Anthropic was at one billion. The crossover happened faster than even Epoch AI's most aggressive forecasts predicted.
