Harvard Scientists Just Proved AI Teaches Better Than Real Teachers

Harvard researchers just ran a study comparing AI tutors versus real classroom teachers. Students using the AI scored more than double the learning gains of students taught by humans. The study was published in Scientific Reports in 2025.

Khan himself has said students in remote areas can now access high quality tutoring through AI, reducing disparities in educational opportunities.
