This is intended to be a short introduction to the priniciples of logarithms preparing for more detailed lessons on using logarithms in more of an academic setting.

For the earthquake example I noticed a mistake. The shaking amplitude of a 5.0 earthquake has 10 times the amplitude of a 4.0 earthquake. Text and recording say twice. That was a mistake.
