Here's a video Lucas and I made. I hope you enjoy it.

It took us a LONG time to make. The easy part was finding a way to become cartoons. The hard part will be turning back.

You might notice the song we sang as loosely based on the song "Que llueva que llueva", which is somewhat similar in melody to "It's raining it's pouring".

There are a LOT of versions of "Que llueva que llueva" out there.

Here are some favorites of Lucas and me:

You might notice different accents and not always a consistency on the melody!

1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsD9fHN0Y8U (South America)

2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvguqctRn8M (Spain)

3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0rBpbq_L_I (South America)

4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTBWGBKokGg (Spain)

5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poJX5QIzJYA (with gestures)

6. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6yuCpYQXOU (kids)

Another interesting detail is that in Spain and Mexico, they sing:
"Que llueva, que llueva la virgen de la cueva"

While in other places in South America they sing,
"que llueva, que llueva la vieja de la cueva"

So interesting to see these regional differences as the song has evolved differently over time!
