👉 Learn how to solve multi-step equations with variable on both sides of the equation. An equation is a statement stating that two values are equal. A multi-step equation is an equation which can be solved by applying multiple steps of operations to get to the solution.
To solve a multi-step equation, we first combine like terms by taking the variable terms to one side of the equality sign and the constant terms to the other side of the equation and evaluate them, then we can isolate the variable by multiplying both sides by the reciprocal of the coefficient of the variable.

John Zimmerman, http://www.algebratesthelper.com explains how to solve equations that involve fractions by either multiplying both sides of the equation by the reciprocal of the fraction, or multiplying both sides of the equation by the denominator of the fraction. The goal is to get rid of the fraction as soon as possible.
In this video we go through 3 examples showing different techniques for solving linear equations involving fractions. We discuss the distributive property, how to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions. We also discuss how to clear the denominators using the lowest common denominator. Also, we discuss the 3 key steps to solving equations and how to stay organized doing so.

The question is fairly difficult and you need to be confident with factorising and manipulating fractions:
3/x+3 + 2/x+2 = -10/x+7
or
three over x plus three plus two over x plus two equals minus ten over x plus seven
