Today we're going to begin our three-part unit on p-values. In this episode we'll talk about Null Hypothesis Significance Testing (or NHST) which is a framework for comparing two sets of information. In NHST we assume that there is no difference between the two things we are observing and and use our p-value as a predetermined cutoff for if something seems sufficiently rare or not to allow us to reject that these two observations are the same. This p-value tells us if something is statistically significant, but as you'll see that doesn't necessarily mean the information is significant or meaningful to you.

Multiply by 1 and learn the multiplication facts for the 1 times table. This song has cool original music that is very contemporary and age appropriate for 2nd through 5th graders. Also, this song goes through each table 1 through 12 three times to give your children a chance for lots of practice. We take pride in saying that this is one of the best multiplication facts songs on the market.
This song also has a gradual learning structure.
First time: I sing the multiplication table I give the answer.
Second time: I say the table I delay the answer, so children have a chance to answer before me.
Third time: I completely omit the answer so children can answer on their own.
This song on learning how to Multiply by 1 is a wonderful way for your children to learn and practice the multiplication tables.
LYRICS:
Any number multiplied by one
You get that number and you’re done
Any number multiplied by one
You get that number and you’re done

1 x 4 is 4
1 x 5 is 5
1 x 6 is 6

1 x 8 is 8
1 x 9 is 9
1 x 10 is 10
1 x 11 is 11
1 x 12 is 12
Now try it on your own
1 x 1 is 1
1 x 2 is 2

In this tutorial I explain the super easy concept of touch math. I explain how it's used to add and subtract numbers which keeps you from counting on your fingers. Remember where the dots are so the next time you see a number, you’ll only see dots.

Partial Fraction Decomposition Form for Repeated Factors:
A factor is repeated if it has multiplicity greater than 1.
If the repeated factor is linear, then each of these rational expressions will have a constant numerator coefficient.
If the factor is to the power of 3. Therefore, 3 rational expressions are needed in the partial fraction decomposition, with each of the denominator is raised to a different positive integer power up to 3, wih 1, 2 and 3 respectively. Since it's linear factor, each of these rational expressions will have a constant numerator coefficient.
Educational video for children that talks about good manners, specifically saying hello and goodbye. Good manners are a way to kindly communicate with other people. Being kind to others is a way of showing them respect and being courteous. The first thing you do when you arrive at a place where other people are present is to say hello. In the morning you say ""good morning,"" in the afternoon you say ""good afternoon,"" and in the evening you say ""good evening."" When it comes to saying goodbye, there are different ways of saying it. The most common is to say ""goodbye"". When you say goodbye to someone at any time of the day, you can say ""goodbye."" When you are not going to see that person for several days, you say ""see you soon"". When you will see that person the next day, you say ""see you tomorrow."" Knowing these magic words will make it much easier to communicate and interact with the people around you.
This video is a very useful and interesting resource for children. It is perfect for teaching about good manners and saying hello and goodbye. It is an excellent video for early childhood education and special education.

In which Craig Benzine teaches you about the compromises met in ratifying the U.S. Constitution. The United States didn’t always have its current system of government. Actually, this is its second attempt. Craig will delve into the failures (and few successes) of the Articles of Confederation, tell you how delegates settled on a two-house system of representation, discuss the issues of slavery and population that have been embedded into our constitution, and fire up the clone machine to discuss how federalists and anti-federalist opposition provided the U.S. a Bill of Rights. And who knows, maybe all this talk of compromise will even inspire Craig and eagle to find some middle ground.

The Night Before Kindergarten
by Natasha Wing
Illustrated by Julie Durrell
Read by Let's Read Stories
'Twas the night before kindergarten,
and as they prepared,
kids were excited,
and a little bit scared.
It's the first day of school! Join the kids as they prepare for kindergarten, packing school supplies, posing for pictures, and the hardest part of all--saying goodbye to Mom and Dad. But maybe it won't be so hard once they discover just how much fun kindergarten really is! Colorful illustrations illuminate this uplifting takeoff on the classic Christmas poem.
Back to school books read aloud by children can help kids develop literacy skills and confidence as they start school. Let's Read Stories has lots of books for children and kindergarteners to listen and learn pronunciation, abcs, 123s, sight words, and more. Thanks for watching!

This one is a little bit GeoGebra and a little bit childhood throwback... at least it is for me! We'll learn a bit about how to make things change color in GeoGebra using Dynamic Color, and we'll use that function to make some colorful pictures.
