We’re proud to collaborate with Bill and Melinda Gates for this week’s video! It may sometimes seem like things are getting worse, but there’s lots of reasons to be optimistic about the future. More people have access to toilets and sanitation than ever before. Thanks to public health improvements like this, since 1990, 122 million children’s lives have been saved. Diseases like polio are nearing eradication. Women have more access to health care and education than ever before.

But our work is not done. How can YOU help make the future better for the world’s poorest?

It is a mammal and a carnivore, so it eats other animals that live in the same habitat, the savanna. The penguin is a vertebrate, so it has an internal skeleton as well. It is a flightless bird and feeds on small fish, crustaceans or plankton. The turtle is a vertebrate so it too has an internal skeleton. It is a member of the reptile group. Today we're learning about a teenager who attained literacy and wrote poems that reached a large slice of the population and helped changed the ways that white Colonists thought about Black people.

"Voy a hacer senderismo."

07:19 Resumen y despedida.
