Rob is back riding his bike as he learns about adding and subtracting on the number line to measure his distance. His friends Lindsey and Suzy then come along to help show Rob how to find sums and differences, and finally describe that the equals spaces on a number line can be called intervals. The group of friends ends their lesson by sitting underneath the lights of the Milky Way and see a magical message appear before their very eyes... watch to find out what it says!

Q. What grade levels do this video target?
A. This video targets learning standards in 1st Grade and 2nd Grade. This video also targets standards in the UK from KS1 (Year 2) to KS2 (Year 3).

Q. Where did you guys come from?
A. Numberock is a project that I, Mr. Hehn, began as a 5th Grade math teacher of 7 years. It came together after years of experimenting with my lessons trying to figure out the best way to help my students retain the math concepts they were learning.
