How can sand, blown by the wind, form such intricate and beautiful patterns as ripples and dunes? The answer is a surprising secret of self-organization. In this video, we travel to Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado to climb the largest sand dunes in North America and bring you the science of how wind and sand combine to create ordered landforms out of chaos. The science must flow.

Educational video for children that talks about some well-known genres of music. Each musical genre is different: there are differences in how they sound, how they are played, what instruments are used and even their origin. The first of today's music genres is reggae. Reggae is a style of music that emerged in Jamaica in the 1960s but became popular in the 1970s. Reggae bands usually use bass guitars, guitars, pianos, organs, trumpets and percussion instruments such as congas or drums. The second genre is salsa. Some say that salsa-like rhythms were heard as early as the 1930s, but it was not until the late 1960s that this musical genre became popular. The third genre is flamenco. Flamenco is a musical genre that originated in Andalusia, in southern Spain. It is not clear exactly when flamenco began. Although the word ""flamenco"" first appeared in the 18th century, it is believed that this musical genre is much older. The fourth genre is the mariachi. Mariachi music began in the 18th century in Mexico and has since become a very popular musical genre all over the world. Finally, there is tango. Tango originated among the European and African immigrant populations in Argentina and Uruguay in the 19th century.
This video is very useful and interesting for kids. It’s perfect for teaching about different musical genres. It’s an excellent video for elementary or primary education.

Improved math is a channel created to provide additional instruction on essential math concepts. I’m passionate about math and I know first-hand how important math concepts are in the real world.
Teachers, parents, guardians, homeschoolers, and students can use these videos to help reinforce math skills. These math videos are designed to help teach yourself math or provide self-study math tools to assist when additional instruction is needed. Teaching math and learning math has changed the way many students learn in this virtual environment. Having on-demand math videos can provide math tutoring needed when children are not able to get help from their teachers after school hours or when trying to do math at home.
The library of math tutorials that I create can also be used as supplemental instructional material for homeschool math. Each full-length video comes with a subsequent knowledge check or math practice problems which serve as a virtual math topic worksheet to test your understanding of each skill. These videos can be paused to work out the problems on your own, then unpaused to check your answers. All of these videos can be found under the Knowledge Check playlist.
I also have a library of shorter videos (less than 1 minute in length - shorts) that are quick math tips and tricks on basic math topics. Some of these short math help videos include problems that you can work on yourself and submit your answers in the comments. They are all listed under my Math Tips and Tricks playlist.
Improved math is creating more videos every day to cover topics from 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, and 7th-grade math. The videos focus on fractions, basic math operations, geometry, and ratios but more topics are being added all the time. If there is a specific topic you would like to see covered, drop me a comment in one of my videos and let me know!
Free math help videos will be posted every Thursday and Friday. For additional math resources, check out my math help website at improvedmath.com where I post math worksheets and answers along with additional context on math basics.
Thanks for watching my channel.
In which John Green examines the French Revolution, and gets into how and why it differed from the American Revolution. Was it the serial authoritarian regimes? The guillotine? The Reign of Terror? All of this and more contributed to the French Revolution not being quite as revolutionary as it could have been. France endured multiple constitutions, the heads of heads of state literally rolled, and then they ended up with a megalomaniacal little emperor by the name of Napoleon. But how did all of this change the world, and how did it lead to other, more successful revolutions around the world? Watch this video and find out. Spoiler alert: Marie Antoinette never said, "Let them eat cake." Sorry.

In which John Green teaches you about the United States Constitution. During and after the American Revolutionary War, the government of the new country operated under the Articles of Confederation. While these Articles got the young nation through its war with England, they weren't of much use when it came to running a country. So, the founding fathers decided to try their hand at nation-building, and they created the Constitution of the United States, which you may remember as the one that says We The People at the top. John will tell you how the convention came together, some of the compromises that had to be made to pass this thing, and why it's very lucky that the framers installed a somewhat reasonable process for making changes to the thing. You'll learn about Shays' Rebellion, the Federalist Papers, the elite vs rabble dynamic of the houses of congress, and start to find out just what an anti-federalist is.

In which John Green kicks off Crash Course US History! Why, you may ask, are we covering US History, and not more World History, or the history of some other country, or the very specific history of your home region? Well, the reasons are many. But, like it or not, the United States has probably meddled in your country to some degree in the last 236 years or so, and that means US History is relevant all over the world. In episode 1, John talks about the Native Americans who lived in what is now the US prior to European contact. This is a history class, not archaeology, so we're mainly going to cover written history. That means we start with the first sustained European settlement in North America, and that means the Spanish. The Spanish have a long history with the natives of the Americas, and not all of it was positive. The Spanish were definitely not peaceful colonizers, but what colonizers are peaceful? Colonization pretty much always results in an antagonistic relationship with the locals. John teaches you about early Spanish explorers, settlements, and what happened when they didn't get along with the indigenous people. The story of their rocky relations has been called the Black Legend. Which is not a positive legend.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit Read Aloud for Children - Easter Books for Kids
by Beatrix Potter
Click here to purchase The Tale of Peter Rabbit: hhttps://www.amazon.com/Tale-Pe....ter-Rabbit-Beatrix-P
The Tale of Peter Rabbit is the original classic by Beatrix Potter. The Tale of Peter Rabbit was first published by Frederick Warne in 1902 and endures as Beatrix Potter's most popular and well-loved tale. It tells the story of a very mischievous rabbit and the trouble he encounters in Mr McGregor's vegetable garden! Re-originated in 2002 to mark the centenary of publication bringing it closer to the original edition, six illustrations were restored, four that were removed in 1903 to make room for endpapers and two that have never been used before, Beatrix having initially prepared more illustrations than could be accommodated in the original format. Beatrix Potter is regarded as one of the world's best-loved children's authors of all time. From her first book, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, published by Frederick Warne in 1902, she went on to create a series of stories based around animal characters including Mrs. Tiggy-winkle, Benjamin Bunny, Jemima Puddle-duck, Mr. Jeremy Fisher and Tom Kitten. Her humorous, lively tales and beautiful illustrations have become a natural part of childhood. With revenue from the sales of her books, Beatrix Potter bought a farm - Hill Top - in the English Lake District, where she later became a farmer and prize-winning sheep breeder. She launched the now vast merchandise programme by patenting the very first Peter Rabbit doll in 1903. The product range continues to grow today with licences around the world including baby clothing and bedding, nursery decor products and collectables. Upon her death, Beatrix Potter left 14 farms and over 4000 acres of Lake District farmland to the National Trust so that the place that she loved would remain undeveloped and protected for future generations to enjoy. Today Beatrix Potter's original 23 tales are still published by Frederick Warne, alongside a wide range of other formats including baby books, activity books and gift and sound books. The Tale of Peter Rabbit is number one in Beatrix Potter's series of 23 little books. Look out for the rest! 1 The Tale of Peter Rabbit 2 The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin 3 The Tailor of Gloucester 4 The Tale of Benjamin Bunny 5 The Tale of Two Bad Mice 6 The Tale of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle 7 The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher 8 The Tale of Tom Kitten 9 The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck 10 The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies 11 The Tale of Mrs. Tittlemouse 12 The Tale of Timmy Tiptoes 13 The Tale of Johnny Town-Mouse 14 The Tale of Mr. Tod 15 The Tale of Pigling Bland 16 The Tale of Samuel Whiskers 17 The Tale of The Pie and the Patty-Pan 18 The Tale of Ginger and Pickles 19 The Tale of Little Pig Robinson 20 The Story of a Fierce Bad Rabbit 21 The Story of Miss Moppet 22 Appley Dapply's Nursery Rhymes 23 Cecily Parsley's Nursery Rhymes

⦿ Bath Song Lyrics:
Bath time Bath time
Let's wash the dirt away
Bath time bath time
The best part of the day
I love bath time
Because I get to play
When it's bath time
I say hip hip hooray
Fill the tub up with water nice and warm
Add bubbles to your bath
Grab your rubber ducky and your other toys
That like swim and splash
When it's bath time I can be
A pirate in the deep blue sea
Bath time Bath time
Let's wash the dirt away
Bath time bath time
The best part of the day
I love bath time
Because I get to play
When it's bath time
I say hip hip hooray
Mommy helps me wash my hair
We scrub and scrub and scrub
When we rinse I lean under
The faucet on the tub
The water I don't mind at all
Here inside this waterfall
Bath time Bath time
Let's wash the dirt away
Bath time bath time
The best part of the day
I love bath time
Because I get to play
When it's bath time
I say hip hip hooray
Dad helps me wash behind my ears
Down to my toes
And then we use the water
To rinse away the soap
I feel as slippery as a seal
A mermaid or an eel
Bath time Bath time
Let's wash the dirt away
Bath time bath time
The best part of the day
I love bath time
Because I get to play
When it's bath time
I say hip hip hooray
Don't you wanna be like me
A pirate of the sea
Or splashing under waterfalls
As happy as can be
Don't you want to swim
Like the fish down below
When it's time to take a bath
There's nowhere you can't go
Bath time Bath time
Let's wash the dirt away
Bath time Bath time
The best part of the day
I love bath time
Because I get to play
When it's bath time
I say hip hip hooray
