It's Kids Academy and welcome back to our channel! Singing Christmas carols is a tradition that many enjoy doing each Christmas. Children especially enjoy singing the songs of the holiday season. One of the first Christmas songs for kids that children learn to sing is the Jingle Bells song. This timeless song has a fun melody and easy lyrics. Children and adults of all ages enjoy singing this holiday tune.
Singing Christmas carols is not only fun but educational as well. When children sing and participate in musical activities the part of the brain that controls language and reasoning activates. Listening skills improve and children express their creativity as well. For young children, there is the opportunity to learn new vocabulary and young learners feel a sense of accomplishment when they learn the Jingle Bells song and can share it with friends and family.
The video opens with the cheerful music of Jingle Bells and children being pulled across the snow-covered scene by a horse and sleigh. The children arrive at the center of their town where there is a Christmas tree. A star magically falls from the sky and lands perfectly on the top of the tree. Snowflakes fall from the sky and turn into decorations for the tree. As the music plays, the lyrics to the song appear at the top of the screen making it easy to read and sing along. Once the tree is decorated, Santa himself flies in the sky over the picturesque Christmas scene. The video captures the magic of the holiday season and delights viewers of all ages.
Teach the Jingle Bells song to your students and children in the school or home classroom with this video. Whether you plan on singing this song in a school program or around the Christmas tree with family, this video enables children to learn the words and melody in a fun and easy way.

Meet our new chess animated cartoon for kids: Secrets of the Chessboard: Episode 4 | Chess for Kids - Kids Academy
In this video, students learn more about the game of chess and study the chessboard closely.
The animated chess instructor explains to the children about the chess pieces. The pieces are actually symbols. The crowns represent the King and Queen, the horse represents the Knight, and the castle represents the Rook.
The chess board itself has sixty-four light and dark squares. Students learn that a chess board cannot have any more or any less squares. On the board there are routes that pieces move called Ranks, and Files. Ranks are the horizontal, or side to side, rows and the Files are rows that are up and down, or vertical.
The video then shows the students that across the bottom and top of the chess board the squares have a letter, and up the sides of the chess board, each row has a number. With these letters and numbers, each square is named.
The video closes with the students looking forward to learning more about the way the letters and numbers are used for recording and knowing the position of each piece. Tune in for the next lesson!

Today I will show my favorite multiplication trick to multiply two digit numbers so fast in only three steps.
✔️ More tricks: https://www.youtube.com/playli....st?list=PLszXz1y8Gha
There are the 3 steps:
- First, multiply the digits in the ones place column.
- Second, cross multiply the numbers in the middle (criss cross). Don´t forget to add the products together.
- Third, multiply the digits in the tens place column.
Be patient, with some practice, you will be able to multiply two digit numbers mentally, trust me.
That is all for today; what other tricks do you want to see on the channel? Maybe another multiplication trick? See you in my next #shorts .

👉 Learn how to solve two step linear equations. A linear equation is an equation whose highest exponent on its variable(s) is 1. To solve for a variable in a two step linear equation, we first isolate the variable by using inverse operations (addition or subtraction) to move like terms to different sides of the equality sign. After evaluating like terms we then also use inverse operations (multiplication or division) to remove any multiple (or fraction) to the variable.

So we ended the last episode nearing the close of the 1980s and Nintendo had become the dominant player in the home console market, but Sega, originally a slot machine game company during World War 2, was looking to get its own console into players’ homes. Sega’s first console wouldn't see much success, but with the introduction of Sonic the Hedgehog on the technologically superior Sega Genesis, Sega established itself as the new best thing in video games. This would be the start of a new round of console wars and the era that brought us more mature games including fighting games, 1st person shooters, and lots of sports games. This maturation of games also led us to the software ratings system by the ESRB. But Sega and Nintendo would not be the alone in the market for long, next week we’re going to talk about the entrance of technology monolith Sony and their introduction of the Playstation.
