In this session, we demystified prompt engineering, a crucial skill for successfully leveraging AI in your classroom.
This hands-on webinar designed specifically for educators covered everything from prompt engineering basics to more advanced techniques. Learn how to avoid common mistakes, save time on administrative tasks, brainstorm ideas, personalize learning, and more!
You will learn:
What is prompt engineering and why it matters
How to structure prompts to get better AI output
Tips for phrasing prompts aimed at different tasks
How to use prompts for lesson planning, administrative tasks, personalizing learning, and other classroom applications.
We'll also walked through our free Prompt Library containing dozens of prompts designed just for education and a perfect place to get started with ideas and examples.
Whether you're new to AI or more experienced, this webinar will take your prompt engineering skills to the next level and supercharge your teaching.
In recent months, AI has become a sticky topic of conversation (and consternation) for educators as they consider how to prepare for its inevitability: What do they need to know? What do their students need to know? How can teachers educate their students about the dangers AI poses? How can students—and teachers—maximize AI to their benefit?
In this animated video, high school ELA teachers Larry Ferlazzo (who also hosts an EdWeek Opinion blog) and Katie Hull Sypnieski offer their best-practice advice for any educator who is either intrigued by, intimated by, or deeply comfortable with the use of AI. Whether it’s how to refresh a lesson plan, differentiate instruction, create high-interest reading materials, or leverage assistive technology—Ferlazzo and Hull Sypnieski provide their guidance.
Sal Khan, the founder and CEO of Khan Academy, thinks artificial intelligence could spark the greatest positive transformation education has ever seen. He shares the opportunities he sees for students and educators to collaborate with AI tools -- including the potential of a personal AI tutor for every student and an AI teaching assistant for every teacher -- and demos some exciting new features for their educational chatbot, Khanmigo.

It is reported by NBC News on April 4, 2024 that Wisconsin will now require K12 public school to add new contents.
Hello, everyone! Today, we have some exciting news to share with you from the state of Wisconsin. Governor Tony Evers has just signed a bill that will make Wisconsin the first state in the nation to require schools to teach Asian American history. This is a significant step forward in recognizing the contributions and experiences of Asian Americans throughout history, and it's something we can all celebrate together.
The new law will mandate schools in the state to include Asian American history in their curriculum starting from 2025. This move is a reminder of our shared history and highlights the diverse experiences that have shaped our nation. It also serves as an important tool for promoting understanding, tolerance, and respect among all Americans.
This new law is not just about learning facts but about building bridges of communication and understanding between different communities. It's a clear signal that we want to learn from each other's history, respect each other's cultures, and work together towards a brighter future for all Americans.
So let's join hands in applauding this significant step taken by Governor Evers and his team! Let's continue to promote understanding, respect, and inclusion among all communities. Thank you for tuning in today! If you found this information interesting, don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more updates like this. Until next time folks!

The hastily developed Bishop self-propelled howitzer entered service in the summer of 1942, less than 6 months after it was first ordered.
The Bishop’s general design was largely based off of the Valentine infantry support tank.

Although the use of a spy balloon in 2023 was considered startlingly primitive, these lighter-than-a feather sacks caused an entire ‘balloonomania’ when they first began being introduced in eighteenth century France. Pilots risked their lives to prove their creations could be used for flight, with Jean-Pierre Blanchard even throwing away his trousers and jacket to keep his balloon afloat as he and his friend crossed the English Channel airborne. Yet, it wasn’t long before these marvellous spectacles, once wondrous spheres of colour in the sky, would be given additional roles. Ones as innovative tools for destruction, terror and intelligence gathering. Well… occasionally, of course.

Perhaps even more harrowing than the progression towards these new weapons, was the regression back towards the basic weapons from the past. In stark contrast to the advancing technology of the twentieth century, many soldiers who were stuck in the close-corridors of trench warfare found themselves back in the medieval era.

In the video, I show two types of law of conservation word problems. The first problem involves counting atoms and the second problem involves finding the mass of the reactants and the products.
