This basic trigonometry video tutorial provides an introduction into trigonometric ratios as it relates to a course in geometry. It explains how to calculate the sin, cos, and tan ratio of a right triangle given the 3 sides. You can use the pythagorean theorem to find the value of the missing side. In addition, it explains how to evaluate trigonometric functions using right triangle trigonometry and special right triangles such as the 30 60 90 triangle or the 45 45 90 triangle. This video contains plenty of examples and practice problems including find missing angles as well as missing sides.

Geometry on Khan Academy: We are surrounded by space. And that space contains lots of things. And these things have shapes. In geometry we are concerned with the nature of these shapes, how we define them, and what they teach us about the world at large--from math to architecture to biology to astronomy (and everything in between). Learning geometry is about more than just taking your medicine ("It's good for you!"), it's at the core of everything that exists--including you. Having said all that, some of the specific topics we'll cover include angles, intersecting lines, right triangles, perimeter, area, volume, circles, triangles, quadrilaterals, analytic geometry, and geometric constructions. Wow. That's a lot. To summarize: it's difficult to imagine any area of math that is more widely used than geometry.

About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

Physics on Khan Academy: Physics is the study of the basic principles that govern the physical world around us. We'll start by looking at motion itself. Then, we'll learn about forces, momentum, energy, and other concepts in lots of different physical situations. To get the most out of physics, you'll need a solid understanding of algebra and a basic understanding of trigonometry.

Students learn about the importance of creating and testing prototypes during the engineering design process. They start by building prototypes, which is a special type of model used to test new design ideas. Students gain experience using a variety of simple building materials, such as foam core board, balsa wood, cardstock and hot glue. They present their prototypes to the class for user testing and in the following activity create prototype iterations based on feedback. (Note: Conduct this activity in the context of a design project that students are working on; this activity reflects Step 5 and Step 6 in a series of seven steps that guide students through the engineering design loop.)
This engineering curriculum aligns to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).

Students learn about the concept of pushing, as well as the relationship between force and mass. Students practice measurement skills using pan scales and rulers to make predictions about mass and distance. A LEGO® MINDSTORMS® robot is used to test their hypotheses. By the end of the activity, students have a better understanding of robotics, mass and friction and the concept of predicting.

If you use AI for education, you need to watch this video. More than two millennia ago, Plato made a criticism of writing that perfectly applies to the disadvantages of using AI as an educational tool.

Plato understood education better than most: we are relational beings. Our way of learning is deeply linked to the personal and physical relationships we establish when studying. Hence, interaction with other human beings is the key to developing our skills and cementing knowledge in our souls.

What do you think of AI? Let me know in the comments!!!

If you're sick and tired of your AI sounding like a customer service bot from 2019, this is for you.

AI doesn't just sound generic. It has a fingerprint. I'm talking hundreds of specific patterns every model defaults to every single time. Most people have no idea how deep this list actually goes.

Back in January of 2023, I started using AI seriously. Recently I went back through everything I've published since then. The same patterns were everywhere. Stuff I thought looked good at the time? It all had the fingerprint.

So I spent months building the most complete list of AI writing tells I could find. I grabbed everything from academic studies and editor forums to Reddit threads.

I used that data to build a two-file force field. It works inside NotebookLM and Gemini in an attempt to catch and kill these patterns before they hit the page.

Today we are going to fix that. I'm showing you exactly how to set it up.

Steal the whole thing.

0:00 - Intro
1:51 - Boring but Important
3:47 - The Writing Guardrails
4:09 - Text DNA Bible
5:28 - NotebookLM Setup
8:03 - Gemini Setup
10:23 - Demo
11:51 - Scaling The Process
12:53 - Outro

Both files are free in the Notion doc below. Copy, paste, done.

📌 Drop a comment and tell me where you found the AI fingerprint first — your own content, someone else's, or somewhere you didn't expect. Let me know how it wrote for you.
👍 Hit like if this helped

In this Tech in 10 tutorial, learn how to use Guided Learning in Google Gemini to turn AI into a step-by-step teaching partner instead of an answer generator. Guided Learning is ideal when you want Gemini to teach like a tutor—asking questions, checking understanding, and adapting instruction as you go.

You’ll see a practical classroom example using CER (Claim, Evidence, Reasoning) writing in middle school science, along with a powerful workflow for uploading standards and having Gemini unpack them into teacher-friendly language, learning targets, and quick formative checks.

This approach helps educators slow down AI, keep thinking at the center, and design instruction that actually supports learning—not shortcuts.

Perfect for lesson planning, standards analysis, and instructional coaching.

And we’ll look at some equations to help us sort through heat transfer and decide what heat exchangers are best suited for our designs.
