Sing along with “I Get to Go to School Today!” as we celebrate making friends, trying our best, and discovering how fun school can be. 🚌📚

🎶 Lyrics – Sing Along! 🎶

I woke up feeling really good, yes it’s true
True, true, true,
I’m going to my favorite place, that’s my school
School, school, school

I’m gonna see all of my friends, and tell them hi
Hi, hi, hi
Today is gonna be so great, do you know why?
Why, why, why?

Because…

Chorus:
I get to go to school today
Oh I can’t wait, oh I can’t wait
Gonna learn, gonna play, oh it’s gonna be great
I get to go to school today, yeah!

I always try my very best, to be on time
Time, time, time
No matter who I’m with at school, I’m always kind
Kind, kind, kind

When we learn, I’ll do my best, I’m gonna try
Try, try, try
It’s gonna be the best day, do you know why, why, why, why?
Cause…

I get to learn so many things
I get to run and dance and sing
I get to have lunch with my friends
I get to do it all again and again

I get to read in the reading nook
I get to learn how to read more books
My teacher is so proud of me
Going to school makes me SO HAPPY!

"Ten in the Bed" or "10 in the Bed" (See below for lyrics)

This classic children's song "Ten in the Bed" is a great way to help young children learn basic math and subtraction skills. Have your child track how many are in the bed as they sing along!

Lyrics:
There were ten in the bed
and the little one said,
"Roll over! Roll over!"
So they all rolled over and one fell out.

There were nine in the bed
and the little one said,
"Roll over! Roll over!"
So they all rolled over and one fell out.

There were eight in the bed
and the little one said,
"Roll over! Roll over!"
So they all rolled over and one fell out.

There were seven in the bed
and the little one said,
"Roll over! Roll over!"
So they all rolled over and one fell out.

There were six in the bed
and the little one said,
"Roll over! Roll over!"
So they all rolled over and one fell out.

There were five in the bed
and the little one said,
"Roll over! Roll over!"
So they all rolled over and one fell out.

There were four in the bed
and the little one said,
"Roll over! Roll over!"
So they all rolled over and one fell out.

There were three in the bed
and the little one said,
"Roll over! Roll over!"
So they all rolled over and one fell out.

There were two in the bed
and the little one said,
"Roll over! Roll over!"
So they all rolled over and one fell out.

There was one in the bed
and the little one said,
"Goodnight!"

Slave Codes: Crash Course Black American History #4
Slave Codes: Crash Course Black American History #4 Teacherflix 7 Views • 2 years ago

Slave codes were a method of protecting the investment of white enslavers in the Colonies by restricting the lives of enslaved people in almost every imaginable way. The codes restricted enslaved people’s ability to move around, or engage in commerce that could make them financially independent - they restricted the opportunities that would allow them to live with even relative freedom. Today, we'll learn how Colonies put laws in place to restrict the movement and freedoms of enslaved people and free Black people.

Language Acquisition: Crash Course Linguistics #12
Language Acquisition: Crash Course Linguistics #12 Teacherflix 3 Views • 2 years ago

Babies have to learn a lot of language stuff before they can even say their first word. Exposure to language as infants doesn’t just help us say those first words but gives us the tools we need to acquire advanced language skills and learn more languages later on in life. In this episode of Crash Course Linguistics, we’ll learn about language acquisition and how the process differs for babies and adults.
