Students control small electric motors with Arduino microcontrollers to make simple sticky-note spinning fans and then explore other variations of basic motor systems. Through this exercise, students create circuits that include transistors acting as switches. They alter and experiment with given basic motor code, learning about the Arduino analogWrite command and pulse width modulation (PWM). Students learn the motor system nuances that enable them to create their own motor-controlled projects. They are challenged to make their motor systems respond to temperature or light, to control speed with knob or soft potentiometers, and/or make their motors go in reverse (using a motor driver shield or an H-bridge). Electric motors are used extensively in industrial and consumer products and the fundamental principles that students learn can be applied to motors of all shapes and sizes.

This video shows you how to round decimals to the nearest thousandth. First, you need to determine what number is in the thousandth position. Look at the number to the right and if it is 5 or greater you round up. If it is 4 or less, you keep that digit the same (round down).

Improved math is a channel created to provide additional instruction on essential math concepts. I’m passionate about math and I know first-hand how important math concepts are in the real world.
Teachers, parents, guardians, homeschoolers, and students can use these videos to help reinforce math skills. These math videos are designed to help teach yourself math or provide self-study math tools to assist when additional instruction is needed. Teaching math and learning math has changed the way many students learn in this virtual environment. Having on-demand math videos can provide math tutoring needed when children are not able to get help from their teachers after school hours or when trying to do math at home.
The library of math tutorials that I create can also be used as supplemental instructional material for homeschool math. Each full-length video comes with a subsequent knowledge check or math practice problems which serve as a virtual math topic worksheet to test your understanding of each skill. These videos can be paused to work out the problems on your own, then unpaused to check your answers. All of these videos can be found under the Knowledge Check playlist.
I also have a library of shorter videos (less than 1 minute in length - shorts) that are quick math tips and tricks on basic math topics. Some of these short math help videos include problems that you can work on yourself and submit your answers in the comments. They are all listed under my Math Tips and Tricks playlist.
Improved math is creating more videos every day to cover topics from 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, and 7th-grade math. The videos focus on fractions, basic math operations, geometry, and ratios but more topics are being added all the time. If there is a specific topic you would like to see covered, drop me a comment in one of my videos and let me know!
Free math help videos will be posted every Thursday and Friday. For additional math resources, check out my math help website at improvedmath.com where I post math worksheets and answers along with additional context on math basics.
Thanks for watching my channel.

Students learn about the engineering design process and how products may be reinvented to serve new purposes. Working in groups, students design a type of slime. After creating their slime, the teacher turns out the lights and the students see that the slime they made actually glows in the dark! The groups investigate how to take their new discoveries and apply them to industrial applications. Once they have determined a use for their glowing slime, each group must build/design and test their product outside of class. The groups then create advertisements (videos, brochures, performances, etc.) for their new product(s) or application(s), and present to the judges for review similar to a “Shark Tank” environment.

What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 13 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX — interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything — be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yet-to-be-dreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“Robux”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

If you want to learn more about AI and deep reinforcement learning (how Albert is trained), there are amazing courses teaching those exact concepts on Brilliant! You can use my link to get a free 30 day trial with 20% off! I've personally gone through the course "Introduction to Neural Networks", and it's one of the best courses on Neural Networks I've ever seen. They're paying us to promote them, but they're genuinely a great service, I've had a Brilliant account for over 5 years and can't recommend it enough :)
In this video an AI Warehouse agent named Albert learns how to walk up and down stairs and get through other obstacles to escape. The AI was trained using Deep Reinforcement Learning, a method of Machine Learning which involves rewarding the agent for doing something correctly, and punishing it for doing anything incorrectly. Albert's actions are controlled by a Neural Network that's updated after each attempt in order to try to give Albert more rewards and less punishments over time. Check the pinned comment for more information on how the AI was trained!

Tamil Nadu just became the first Indian state to officially embed Artificial Intelligence, coding, and digital simulations into the public school curriculum — and this could redefine how India prepares its next generation.
Starting in 2025, every student from Class 6 to 9 in Tamil Nadu will learn to code in Python, build AI models, and run real-world experiments using tools like Scratch, Blockly, GeoGebra, and PhET simulations — all during regular school hours. This isn’t a pilot programme, nor a summer bootcamp. It’s policy. It’s the new normal.
In this video, we break down what Tamil Nadu is doing, how it plans to scale digital literacy from the ground up, and why this initiative could put the state years ahead in workforce readiness and tech-led economic growth. From Microsoft’s TEALS programme and Oracle’s skilling partnerships to Google’s AI Labs and the state-backed “Naan Mudhalvan” platform — all the groundwork laid is now becoming part of the education system itself.
With a bold vision to become a $1 trillion economy by 2031, Tamil Nadu is betting big on tech fluency — and it’s starting in the classroom. We’ll unpack why this move matters not just for the state, but for the entire country, and what it signals about India’s educational and digital future.
No other Indian state has done this — not Karnataka, not Maharashtra, not Delhi.
So the real question is: what’s stopping the rest?
Join us as we explore how Tamil Nadu is setting the pace in tech-first education — and why this moment could be a turning point for India’s digital economy. Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe to AIM TV for more deep dives into AI, policy, and the future of innovation.
