Improved math is a channel created to provide additional instruction on essential math concepts. I’m passionate about math and I know first-hand how important math concepts are in the real world.
Teachers, parents, guardians, homeschoolers, and students can use these videos to help reinforce math skills. These math videos are designed to help teach yourself math or provide self study math tools to assist when additional instruction is needed. Teaching math and learning math has changed the way many students learn in this virtual environment and during the pandemic. Having on-demand math videos can provide math tutoring needed when children are not able to get help from their teachers after school hours or when trying to do math at home.
The library of math tutorials that I create can also be used as supplemental instructional material for homeschool math. Each full-length video comes with a subsequent knowledge check or math practice problems which serve as a virtual math topic worksheet to test your understanding of each skill. These videos can be paused to work out the problems on your own, then unpaused to check your answers. All of these videos can be found under the Knowledge Check playlist.
I also have a library of shorter videos (less than 1 minute in length - shorts) that are quick math tips and tricks on basic math topics. Some of these short math help videos include problems that you can work on yourself and submit your answers in the comments. They are all listed under my Math Tips and Tricks playlist.
Improved math is creating more videos every day to cover topics from 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, and 7th-grade math. The videos focus on fractions, basic math operations, geometry, and ratios but more topics are being added all the time. If there is a specific topic you would like to see covered, drop me a comment in one of my videos and let me know!
Free math help videos will be posted every Thursday and Friday. For additional math resources, check out my math help website at improvedmath.com where I post math worksheets and answers along with additional context on math basics.
Thanks for watching my channel.

Have a great rest of your day and thanks again for watching! ✌️✌️✌️
I explain why it is called a square root, and also how a square root works.
#mathematics #DoS
Clarifications:
To keep this video simple I decided to not talk about complex numbers. But perhaps I should have mentioned complex numbers when talking about the square root of negative numbers.
When I said "you can never have a square root of a negative number", I guess I could have said "you can never have a square root of a negative number, unless you use complex numbers."
Cool, well I'm still learning! And thanks for keeping me in check. :D

What Is a Noun?
Grammarly
Grammarly
GRAMMAR
Nouns are everywhere in our writing. But what are all the types of nouns you come across, and how do you use them?
What is a noun?
A noun is a word that names something, such as a person, place, thing, or idea.
Types of nouns
Nouns form a large proportion of English vocabulary and they come in a wide variety of types. Nouns can name a person:
Albert Einstein
the president
my mother
a girl
Nouns can also name a place:
Mount Vesuvius
Disneyland
my bedroom
Nouns can also name things, although sometimes they might be intangible things, such as concepts, activities, or processes. Some might even be hypothetical or imaginary things.
shoe
faucet
freedom
The Elder Wand
basketball
Proper nouns vs. common nouns
One important distinction to be made is whether a noun is a proper noun or a common noun. A proper noun is a specific name of a person, place, or thing, and is always capitalized.
Does Tina have much homework to do this evening?
Tina is the name of a specific person.
I would like to visit Old Faithful.
Old Faithful is the specific name of a geological phenomenon.
The opposite of a proper noun is a common noun, sometimes known as a generic noun. A common noun is the generic name of an item in a class or group and is not capitalized unless appearing at the beginning of a sentence or in a title.
The girl crossed the river.
Girl is a common noun; we do not learn the identity of the girl by reading this sentence, though we know the action she takes. River is also a common noun in this sentence.
A concrete noun is something that is perceived by the senses; something that is physical or real.
I heard the doorbell.
My keyboard is sticky.
Doorbell and keyboard are real things that can be sensed.
Conversely, an abstract noun is something that cannot be perceived by the senses.
We can’t imagine the courage it took to do that.
Courage is an abstract noun. Courage can’t be seen, heard, or sensed in any other way, but we know it exists.
A collective noun denotes a group or collection of people or things.
That pack of lies is disgraceful.
Pack of lies as used here is a collective noun. Collective nouns take a singular verb as if they are one entity – in this case, the singular verb is.
Plural nouns
Plural nouns, unlike collective nouns, require plural verbs. Many English plural nouns can be formed by adding -s or -es to the singular form, although there are many exceptions.
cat—cats
These two cats are both black.
Note the plural verb are.
tax—taxes
house—houses
Countable nouns vs. uncountable nouns
Countable nouns are nouns which can be counted, even if the number might be extraordinarily high (like counting all the people in the world). Countable nouns can be used with a/an, the, some, any, a few, and many.
Here is a cat.
Cat is singular and—obviously—countable.
Here are a few cats.
Here are some cats.
Uncountable nouns are nouns that come in a state or quantity which is impossible to count; liquids are uncountable, as are things that act like liquids (sand, air). They are always considered to be singular, and can be used with some, any, a little, and much.
An I.Q. test measures intelligence.
Intelligence is an uncountable noun.
Students don’t seem to have much homework these days.
A pride of lions roamed the savanna.
Pride of lions is also a collective noun.

And even worse, the goslings are convinced he's their mother. Bruce tries to get the geese to go south, but he can't seem to rid himself of his new companions. What's a bear to do?
This physics video tutorial explains how to solve problems associated with the latent heat of fusion of ice and the latent heat of vaporization of ice. It contains problems associated with specific heat capacity, calorimetry, and heat transfer problems. It discusses the heating curve of water, the increase of kinetic energy during a temperature change process and the increase in potential energy during the phase change process. This video contains plenty of examples and heat transfer practice problems. It discusses phase changes such as freezing, melting, vaporization, condensation and the heat exchange that occurs during those times.

🔍 In this video, we unravel the layers of AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and their applications in tools like #ChatGPT and Google #Bard
We first go through how AI is a broad field of study that encompasses #MachineLearning as a sub-field.
We then break down Machine Learning into supervised and unsupervised models, using real-world examples to illustrate their functions and differences.
We move deeper into Deep Learning: Learn about artificial neural networks and the power of semi-supervised learning in applications like fraud detection in banking.
Then we delve into Generative AI, differentiating it from discriminative models and demonstrating its capabilities in creating new, innovative outputs.
Finally we walk through Large Language Models (LLMs) and uncover the significance of LLMs in AI, their pre-training processes, and their customization for specific industry applications

A quadratic equation is an equation in the form of ax^2 + bx + c = 0, where x is the variable and a, b, and c are constants. Quadratic equations can be solved using various methods such as factoring, completing the square, or using the quadratic formula: x = (-b ± √(b^2 - 4ac)) / 2a. The solutions to a quadratic equation are known as the roots and are represented by x1 and x2.
