Multiply by 2 by Jack Hartmann will help you learn the 2 times table. Multiply by 2's with a techno beat. Learn the 2's times tables by singing along with the multiplication fact the first time through. The second time through we delay the answer so students can give the answer and then the answer is reinforced. The third time we supply the 2's times table and leave the answer blank for higher order learning.
Multiply by 2's with this catchy techno tune to help student's learn their 2 multiplication table.

First time: I sing the multiplication table I give the answer.

Second time: I say the table I delay the answer, so children have a chance to answer before me.

Third time: I completely omit the answer so children can answer on their own.

This song on learning how to Multiply by 2 is a wonderful way for your children to learn and practice the multiplication tables.
Multiply by 2's with this catchy techno tune to help student's learn their 2's multiplication table

LYRICS:

Multiply by 2

Two
Don’t worry, don’t sweat
Don’t even wonder
When you multiply by two you get
An even number

2 x 1 is 2
2 x 2 is 4
2 x 3 is 6
2 x 4 is 8
2 x 5 is 10
2 x 6 is 12
2 x 7 is 14
2 x 8 is 16
2 x 9 is 18
2 x 10 is 20
2 x 11 is 22
2 x 12 is 24

Don’t worry, don’t sweat
Don’t even wonder
When you multiply by two you get
An even number

2 x 1 is 2
2 x 2 is 4
2 x 3 is 6
2 x 4 is 8
2 x 5 is 10
2 x 6 is 12
2 x 7 is 14
2 x 8 is 16
2 x 9 is 18
2 x 10 is 20
2 x 11 is 22
2 x 12 is 24

Don’t worry, don’t sweat
Don’t even wonder
When you multiply by two you get
An even number

You do it, do it on your own
Right now

2 x 1 is
2 x 2 is
2 x 3 is
2 x 4 is
2 x 5 is
2 x 6 is
2 x 7 is
2 x 8 is
2 x 9 is
2 x 10 is
2 x 11 is
2 x 12 is

Don’t worry, don’t sweat
Don’t even wonder
When you multiply by two you get

Linear Algebra on Khan Academy: Have you ever wondered what the difference is between speed and velocity? Ever try to visualize in four dimensions or six or seven? Linear algebra describes things in two dimensions, but many of the concepts can be extended into three, four or more. Linear algebra implies two dimensional reasoning, however, the concepts covered in linear algebra provide the basis for multi-dimensional representations of mathematical reasoning. Matrices, vectors, vector spaces, transformations, eigenvectors/values all help us to visualize and understand multi dimensional concepts. This is an advanced course normally taken by science or engineering majors after taking at least two semesters of calculus (although calculus really isn't a prereq) so don't confuse this with regular high school algebra.

About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

For free. For everyone. Forever. #YouCanLearnAnything

Did you know that some tortoises can live for 150 years

Some of the animal species that live the longest are reptiles. This is the case for the tortoises that live in the Galápagos Islands, who are able to live for 150 years. But this giant tortoises are threatened by humans. For many years, humans have hunted them for their meat and the rich oil that they contain. Also, many of the spaces they live in have been destroyed and the water of the sea of their habitats has been contaminated. Let’s hope that all this changes and we are able to look after and protect nature

Did you know that reptiles are very ancient?
Without doubt, these animals are among the jewels of evolution of the animal kingdom, crocodiles have been existing for 250 million years and they are one of the animals that still have many similarities with dinosaurs. But they are not the only ones, look at this Komodo dragon, it has similarities to a dinosaur, doesn’t it?

Did you know that the longest snake in the world can be 10 meters long and the smallest one is 10cm?

The longest snake is the reticulated Indonesian python which can weight up to 100 kilos. It feeds on birds, rodents and other reptiles but the biggest ones are able to eat entire monkeys, deers and wild pigs!
The truth is that they are a bit scary.
The one that can’t possible scare you is the silk snake which is the smallest one in the whole world and it’s only a maximum of 10cm long, this small snake are in danger of extinction, since it only lives on one island called Barbados. Humans have destroyed 95% of the forests on this island and our small little snake doesn’t have any place to live. What a shame!
