In this video we use GeoGebra 3D from geogebra.org to graph a cone with equation x^2 + y^2 + z^2 = 9 in rectangular and rho = 3 in spherical. Video of finding the equation here: https://youtu.be/BYCdO2vHp00
We use the surface command with parameters for theta and phi (I use t and v). After getting the graph to work we then create sliders for the upper bounds of the parameters and play around with it a bit. Playing around with this kind of thing on GeoGebra is the best way I've found to really learn what's going on.

Educational video for children to learn the basic emotions, improve their self-esteem with a fun exercise and discover what empathy is with a short story. We feel happy when good things happen, we feel sad when something bad happens around us, we feel scared when we think we're in danger; anger is the emotion that makes us feel annoyed, we feel disgusted when something repels us and we feel surprised when something unexpected happens. Regarding empathy, children will look at several situations any child can face in their day-to-day school environment. These examples will help to show what empathy is about so that children can learn how to put themselves in the place of other people. As for the self-esteem video, children will learn to know themselves, identify their positive and negative traits, discover how they perceive themselves and how others perceive them. This compilation video is an excellent teaching resource for preschool education and elementary school.

In which John Green teaches you about the election of 1860. As you may remember from last week, things were not great at this time in US history. The tensions between the North and South were rising, ultimately due to the single issue of slavery. The North wanted to abolish slavery, and the South wanted to continue with it. It seemed like a war was inevitable, and it turns out that it was. But first, the nation had to get through this election. You'll learn how the bloodshed in Kansas and the truly awful Kansas-Nebraska Act led directly to the decrease in popularity of Stephen Douglas, the splitting of the Democratic party, and the unlikely victory of a relatively inexperienced politician from Illinois, Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln's election would lead directly to the secession of several southern states, and thus to the Civil War. John will teach you about all this, plus Dred Scott, Roger Taney, and John Brown.

Hey teachers and students - Check out CommonLit's free collection of reading passages and curriculum resources to learn more about the events of this episode. The Lincoln and Douglass debates of the 1850s fueled the argument over state's rights to decide on slavery and culminated when the two ran against one another in the Election of 1860: https://www.commonlit.org/text....s/the-election-of-18

Longitudinal waves are waves in which the displacement of the medium is in the same direction as, the direction of propagation or movement of the wave. In other words, the displacement of the medium is parallel to the propagation of the wave

Longitudinal waves are also called compressional or compression waves, because they produce compression and rarefaction when traveling.
I also cover compressions and rarefactions.

This chemistry video tutorial provides a basic introduction to acid base titrations. It shows you how to calculate the unknown concentration of an acid solution and how to determine the volume of base added to completely neutralize the acid and to reach the equivalence point. It also explains how to calculate the pH of acid base titrations before, at and beyond the equivalence point. This video contains plenty of examples, equations, formulas, and practice problems.

Algebra II on Khan Academy: Your studies in algebra 1 have built a solid foundation from which you can explore linear equations, inequalities, and functions. In algebra 2 we build upon that foundation and not only extend our knowledge of algebra 1, but slowly become capable of tackling the BIG questions of the universe. We'll again touch on systems of equations, inequalities, and functions...but we'll also address exponential and logarithmic functions, logarithms, imaginary and complex numbers, conic sections, and matrices. Don't let these big words intimidate you. We're on this journey with you!

About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. Once learned, these vocabulary words are yours forever. Be sure to make an effort to use them often in your school work, presentations, and everyday life. An expanded vocabulary will separate you from the average person, especially at the interview for a job.___________________________________________________________________________ ________________________ ABOUT ________________________________________ Complete K12 essentials Youtube channel and Complete K12 Essentials.com was created to offer parents and teachers an online augmentation or alternative when public schools are not available. The need for standard curriculum that can be delivered via the internet became obvious during the pandemic of 2020. Teachers and school districts were left to create lesson plans and somehow connect with the students with very little time. The challenge was to give each child a method to connect with teachers and class mates to simulate a natural learning environment. Although we are still building our library of video lessons, you can use our videos to create lesson plans, review standardized material, introduce building blocks and drills, as well as assigning tests and quizzes on limited videos, such as vocabulary. We are building videos that will serve all students from kindergarten through the 12th grade. Recently launched on June 21st, 2020 our goal is to provide videos that will serve as a resource for those teaching or those looking to cover important standardized curriculum. We believe that access to a solid foundation of knowledge should be available to everyone who chooses to seek it. Many offerings online lean on animation to capture a child’s attention, which to a certain extent works, but they lose interest rapidly and the opportunities for learning are significantly reduced. This is especially true when the child has no obligation to retain the material or accountability to a teacher. Navigating through the material suitable for each grade level is a difficult task at best, so we have created the “SAFE LEARNING PLACE” logo and apply it to all of our videos to show you our dedication to providing good learning material that can be trusted across our whole channel. The curriculum will cover Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, Technology, Music, Art, Health and Fitness, Foreign Languages, Life Skills, Career training, History and Law.
