This is my journey to find all of the fundamental constants of nature which took some surprising turns. Check out Brilliant who sponsored part of this video: https://brilliant.org/dos
When you learn physics, you very quickly encounter the physical constants of nature, things like the gravitational constant, the speed of light in a vacuum, planck's constant, the elementary charge things like that. These are numbers which we believe are the same everywhere in the universe, for all time. They are baked into our laws of physics and are very special, because if they were even a few percent different, then the Universe wouldn’t exist and neither would we. They are also fundamental because we can’t derive them from any underlying theory, we just have to take them as being true.
So I wanted to go on a quest to find all of the fundamental physical constants and collect them all together so you can see them all in one place, because that’s the kind of thing I do on this channel. So this video is the story of me doing that. But it took some fascinating twists and turns along the way, and the final set was definitely not what I was expecting, because it doesn’t actually include the ones we are familiar with, the ones I just mentioned: speed of light, gravitational constant, planck’s constant. Watch to find out why.

Note that his final set is a little different to mine which is explained in his article. I chose my set to be the easiest to understand.

Heat is the transfer of energy from objects of different temperatures. As objects warm-up or cool down their kinetic energy changes. Kinetic energy is the energy of motion.
In this video, I focus on three ways heat can be transferred,
Conduction, Convection, and Radiation.
Conduction involves direct contact between objects and usually occurs among solids.
Convection is caused by unequal heating and the density of the different objects causes movement of fluid away from the heat source.
Radiation occurs without objects touching and occurs in space.
For example, the energy of the sun warms objects on Earth due to radiation.
I show several examples or demonstrations for each type of heat transfer.

Quantitative data can be divided into two types, discrete and continuous data.In this video you will learn the differences between discrete and continuous data.

Welcome to MooMooMath where we upload a new Math video everyday.
In this video I would like to talk about two types of quantitative data.
Discrete and Continuous
Discrete data is data that has distinguishable spaces between values.
Often it is data that is counted.
On a graph the ordered pairs are at specific locations, so the graph is not connected, but only points
Some examples of discrete data include,
Dogs
People
Tickets you have for a show.
Continuous data is data that falls on a continuum.
On a graph it is all of the points, and the points in between.
It is data that can be measured as finely as possible.
It is often a physical measure.
Discreet data will often will contain fractions or decimals.
Some examples of continuous data include,
Time
Age
Height
Weight
Let's look at two examples and see the differences between these types of data.
Family Members
Discrete 5 family members
Continuous: Range between 5 feet and 6 feet tall
Books, books on your book shelf.
The discreet data is that you have 6 books on your bookshelf.
Continuous data is that they range in height from 15 to 30 cm in length
Discrete or not?
Number of cows on a farm yes discrete
Age of the cows on the farm continuous
Number of points scored in a game. discrete
Amount of oxygen in the atmosphere continuous
Temperature is continuous data
Number text messages sent today discrete
