Welcome to Kids Academy! In this educational video for kids, we will read aloud the Peter Rabbit story for kids. Peter Rabbit is a fictional animal character in various children's stories by Beatrix Potter. He first appeared in The Tale of Peter Rabbit in 1902 and subsequently in five more books between 1904 and 1912. Spinoff merchandise includes dishes, wallpaper, and dolls. He appears as a character in several adaptations.
Peter Rabbit was named after a pet rabbit whom Beatrix Potter had as a child, and whom she called Peter Piper. The first Peter Rabbit story, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, was originally created in 1893 as a letter to Noel Moore, the five-year-old son of Potter's former governess, Annie Moore. The boy was ill and Potter wrote him a picture and a story letter to help him pass the time and to cheer him up. The letter included sketches illustrating the narrative.
Reading bedtime stories to kids is a very old and important ritual. It is not just to put the kids to sleep and curb their curiosities. These bedtime stories are actually the start of the learning process for your kids. Bedtime stories give both moral and educational lessons to the kids and they also teach them to read or get familiar with phonics if you read the stories with sounds and make them fun.
Due to the crucial importance of bedtime stories for kids, it is important to choose wisely what kind of story you want to tell your child. It should be easy, with a plot that their brains can comprehend. The words should be easy that the kids can learn.
The book should have visual illustrations and most importantly, the bedtime story for kids should have a sound moral lesson to help in their development and upbringing.
One such bedtime story for kids is The Tale of Peter Rabbit. It has been adapted from the works of Beatrix Potter and comes as a short story book with illustrations. This animated tale is about the naughty garden adventures of a rabbit named Peter.
The Tale of Peter Rabbit is about four rabbits namely,
Flopsy
Mopsy
Cotton Tail
Peter
Unlike his other siblings, who are well-behaved and contented, Peter is naughty and mischievous. This behavior puts him in trouble when he goes to investigate Mr. McGregor’s garden despite his mother’s warnings against it. Mr. McGregor chases him with a rack and Peter runs back home frightened and barely alive. His mother puts him to bed with a chamomile tree while his siblings enjoy eating blackberries with milk.
The Tale of Peter Rabbit teaches young kids to listen to their parents and learn to respect their wishes. It also has been made into a bedtime story movie.

Line Plots for Kids | Math for 2nd and 3rd Grade | Kids Academy
If your little one is now old enough to read textbooks of maths for second grade and if now it’s that time when he is supposed to start learning about line plots and what they are then yes, you are at the right place! We are going to tell you how to make it a fun process to teach your little one about line plots and educate him about where these plots are used.
For starters, we totally agree with the fact that maths is a little boring for children and they easily lose interest in this subject. Especially when you will be teaching your little one about line plots, it would be very normal if he won’t pay attention to you. On the other hand, you don’t actually have a choice and you need to educate them somehow which is where you need to start focusing on the part where you need to make maths a little exciting for your children.
For those who don’t know, a line plot is basically a line graph that is more of a chart where information is displayed along the lines with numbers on them. Now, to teach your child about line plots, you can make them watch online videos, especially the Youtube ones because there are people giving away free Youtube lectures for grade 2 kids for maths and all the other subjects too.
If you opt for visuals, chances are that your child will learn things quicker and he won’t feel dull or bored in that case. So, use online videos to teach your children and play different math fun games too so that your child can develop some interest in this subject.
You will have to put in some effort in your child right now but we assure you that this effort and all your struggle will be worth the results.

If you are here right now, chances are that your little one is at that stage of his education where you need to teach him to skip counting by 10. It’s an important lesson for your little one especially if you are making the jump from counting to basic addition. It’s one easy concept and once your child grasps this concept, maths will become really easy for him, especially addition will become really easy.
Now, this concept can be a little dull and boring for some kids which is why they won’t get it as quick as you want them to. Or in other words, if it’s hard for your child to learn what skip counting is and how it works, then all you need to do is to opt for online Youtube videos. You see, attractive visuals put a lot of effect on a child’s brain and that’s exactly what you need to use to teach him to skip counting.
Youtube videos on the internet have some of the best skip counting for kids lessons and that’s what you need to show your little one. With these lessons, we assure you that your child will learn how to skip count real quick and you will be impressed with the results.
Other than that, you can use different textbooks and different games, etc to teach the concept of skip counting. It’s a very easy concept and we assure you that with a little effort your child will definitely pick up this concept and his addition skills will become marvelous too.
