This video walks you through 4 examples of how do you simplify ratios. When trying to find the simplest ratio, you need to lay out your factors for each number in your ratio. Once you identify the greatest common factor, you can divide your ratio numbers by that greatest common factor. The result is a ratio in its reduced or simplest form.

These math videos are designed to help teach yourself math or provide self-study math tools to assist when additional instruction is needed. Teaching math and learning math has changed the way many students learn in this virtual environment. Having on-demand math videos can provide math tutoring needed when children are not able to get help from their teachers after school hours or when trying to do math at home.

The library of math tutorials that I create can also be used as supplemental instructional material for homeschool math. Each full-length video comes with a subsequent knowledge check or math practice problems which serve as a virtual math topic worksheet to test your understanding of each skill. These videos can be paused to work out the problems on your own, then unpaused to check your answers. All of these videos can be found under the Knowledge Check playlist.

I also have a library of shorter videos (less than 1 minute in length - shorts) that are quick math tips and tricks on basic math topics. Some of these short math help videos include problems that you can work on yourself and submit your answers in the comments. They are all listed under my Math Tips and Tricks playlist.

Improved math is creating more videos every day to cover topics from 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, and 7th-grade math. The videos focus on fractions, basic math operations, geometry, and ratios but more topics are being added all the time. Dette værksted, som hedder Slå, byg og regn er et godt begynder værksted, når man skal arbejde med plus.
I værkstedet skal eleverne arbejde med 3 forskellige udgaver at plusstykkerne. De skal slå dem med to terninger, de skal bygge dem med nummerbrikker og til sidst lægge tallene sammen ud fra deres foretrukne strategi.
Der er også en lille detektivopgave i værkstedet, som eleverne plejer at være glade for.

Der er fokus på mundtlighed og rolleregning i dette værksted, og hvis du laver rolleregning, giver det nogle gode snakke mellem børnene.

I værkstedet Minus uden 10´er overgang øver eleverne sig i at trække større tal fra hinanden, og det er første værksted, hvor eleverne begynder at anvende en regnemetode.

Nogle børn anvender regnemetoden bevidst, mens andre har god hjælp af mønterne til at visualisere, hvad der sker i regnestykkerne.

Hvis dette værksted er for svært for de mindste elever, er det en god ide at gå tilbage til mine værksteder der øver minus med æggebakker og nummerbrikker. De kan findes i min playliste "Hjælp til minus" her på siden og med alle materialer på min hjemmeside, så giv den gerne et besøg også.

You might wonder how this can be true when one of the unbreakable laws of the universe is that nothing can travel faster than light. But this only applies to things moving through space and these distant galaxies are getting further away from us because the space between us is expanding. So the distance between us and them is increasing faster than light could travel across that space. This is also why the observable Universe is 45 billion light years across despite only being 13.8 billion years old.
