Title: Division by 5 - Fast And Easy Math Learning Videos

In this lesson, you'll learn the basic facts for dividing by 5.
Dividing by 5 is the same as finding the missing factor when five is the other factor, which you already know how to do.
To find the answer to this problem, we ask the question, "What number do we multiply by 5 to get 20?"
You know that the answer to that question is 4.
So when we divide 20 by 5 the answer is 4.
Another example. 35 divided by 5.
The answer to the division problem is the same as for this missing factor problem.
What number do we multiply by 5 to get 35?
We multiply by 7.
So when we divide 35 by 5 the answer is 7.
Here's a quick reminder for solving these problems.
When the number you're dividing into ends in 0, the answer is two times the number of tens.
When the number you're dividing into ends in 5, the answer is two times the number of tens plus one more.

#Adjectives

Did you know that millions of years ago, all the land on the earth was connected? Pangea for Kids explores the history of the earth. You will discover some pretty interesting facts about the planet we live on! So let's get into it. How and why doe the earth look the way it does today?

Pangea was a supercontinent, meaning that all the continents we know of today were part of the same land mass. Keep in mind, this was nearly 300 million years ago. Scientists have discovered that the continents today are like big puzzle pieces that all fit together. They realized the possibility of a supercontinent when they discovered fossils of certain dinosaurs in areas that are currently separated by oceans.

But how did the continents split? The earth is made up of several different sections called plates. These tectonic plates in the earth's crust move incredibly slowly over the mantle layer of the planet. The constant movement of the plates changed what the land looked like on the surface. Sometimes the plates bumped each other. Other times they moved apart. And they also slid side by side. Over time—millions and millions of years—the continents we know of today separated more and more.

What is a fact? What is an opinion? And what is the difference between the two? In Fact and Opinion for Kids, you and your student(s) will learn how to tell the difference between a statement of fact and one that is simply a person's opinion.

This video starts out with a great example that demonstrates opinions. Andrew loves pizza, his mom loves ice cream, and his dad loves apples. None of these foods are the best food in the world to everyone, so each person's favorite food choice is their opinion. Facts are statements that can be proven. The sun is yellow. The sky is blue. These are facts that people can prove quite easily. Summer is the best time of year. Soccer is the most fun sport to play. These statements cannot be proven. They are opinions because people prefer different things. Some people may believe summer to be the best time of year. Others, though, might prefer autumn or winter weather even more.

Some opinions can be supported by facts. While they are still opinions, they can be considered widely accepted because of the facts that support them. There are two reasons to know the difference between facts and opinions. One reason is that listening to others' opinions help you better understand them and know them better. The other reason is that knowing the facts about something helps you make important decisions.
