Remember me because you are able
We’ll learn to multiply 1 through 10
Up to 100 because you can

Let’s start by learning how the Times Table works
Because learning to multiply is one of life's perks

You see that vertical line
It’s numbered 1 through 10
And that horizontal line is numbered the same again

All these numbers on the inside we will cover next
They’re the answers to the equations
You will see in a text

For example, if you look at
the number 2
And want to multiply it by 7
Here’s what you’ll do

Let’s use this 2 from the
vertical side
And multiply it with the 7 on the horizontal guide

Run a line from the 2 if you know
what I mean
And a line from the 7 down to see where they meet

Where the two lines collide will be the answer you seek
2 X 7 = 14
This equation is complete

You can also use the Horizontal number
2
And the Vertical 7 to achieve the same results it’s true

Now let’s try and multiply
5 X 5
Where the two lines meet the answer is 25

Another example is multiplying
9 X 6
The two lines meet at 54 where your eyes are transfixed

Here’s one more equation it’s
8 X 4
The answer is 32. After this chorus, there’s more

I am the Multiplication Table

We’ll learn to multiply 1 through 10
Up to 100 because you can

When we start at the X
And count diagonally down
You’ll find the answer to each number multiplied by itself without a frown

You’ll see 1 X 1 = 1 and here are some more
Then you see 2 X 2 and it does equal 4

3 X 3 = 9 and 4 X 4 is 16
5 X 5 is 25 now you know what I mean

6 X 6 = 36 and 7 X 7 is 49
8 X 8 = 64 I know you’re feeling fine
9 X 9 = 81. Yeah, that’s what I said.
And 10 X 10 = 100 you can see here in red
You can move across or down and
And multiply each number on its own
Let’s try a couple out
Then you can continue at home
Multiplying by 1. Yeah,
it is so easy
You always end up with the same number
you multiplied by you see
For example, 1 X 1 = 1 and 2 X 1 is 2
And 3 X 1 = 3. Now you practice too
Let’s move to 2 and count straight across
2 4 6 8 10 Start over if you’re lost
12 14 16 18 and 20
Let’s try one more row. Start at number 3
3 6 9 12 15 18
21 24 27 and 30

Title: Fractions as Division - Fast And Easy Math Learning Videos

You already know that you can write the remainder in a division problem as a fraction. In this lesson you’ll learn that all division problems can be written as fractions. First let’s review writing remainders as fractions:
Thirteen divided by 3.
Remember: to solve this problem we make an array.
The array we made is 3 by 4, and there’s 1 left over.
Now we break each of our remaining blocks into 3 parts.
And we continue making the array with the parts.
So, now the array we’ve made is 3, by 4 and one-third.
So, 13 divided by 3 is equal to 4 and one-third.
Instead of just splitting the remainder blocks into thirds, we could have split all of the blocks into thirds before forming the array, like this.
Now we’ll make an array. Remember, since we split the blocks into thirds, each whole block will end up being 1 column in the array.
So the array we formed is 3 by thirteen-thirds.
So 13 divided by 3 is equal to thirteen-thirds.
We can do the same thing for all division problems. Any division problem can be rewritten as a fraction with the numerator as the dividend and the denominator as the divisor.
Let’s look at another example.
Three divided by 4.
Since 3 is less than 4 we cannot make an array without splitting each of the blocks into fourths, like this.
Now we can make an array.
So the array we formed is 4 by three-fourths
So 3 divided by 4 is equal to three-fourths.
Let’s look at another example: 56 divided by 9. We can rewrite this as a fraction with 56 as the numerator, and 9 as the denominator.
Let’s look at one last example
Four-sixths. Just as we can rewrite division problems as fractions, we can also rewrite fractions as division problems. So four-sixths is equal to 4 divided by 6.
In the remainder of this lesson you’ll rewrite division problems as fractions and fractions as division problems.
