People build solar power systems, like solar panels, to generate heat and electricity.

Learn the Alphabet - Letter D | Phonics for Kids | Preschool and Kindergarten
The alphabets are the basics of the child’s learning process. This will form the base of everything that the child is going to learn therefore it is very important that this base is strong, and the child goes with clear concepts to the next standard.
Learning the alphabets can be made very easy for the kids by making it fun for them. The more they enjoy learning this process, the more quickly they will learn.
If your child has learned the letters A, B, C, let’s move on to the letter D now. So how can your child learn letter D?
Learn letter D
So how can you teach your child the letter D. Let’s start.
1. First, you show them the letter written somewhere.

• Draw the first line.
• Then draw the circle in one go.
Use a chalk or a pencil or ay colorful crayon or marker to make this more interesting to the kid.

English Alphabet for Kids | Letter O | Kids Academy
If your child is now old enough to start learning alphabets and if you want to make this daunting process easier for yourself then yes, you are on the right page at the moment. You see, telling your children about alphabets and explaining them the sound and the use of the alphabets is quite a difficult task and honestly, mere textbooks won’t work.
What you need to do is to make the learning process a little more fun for your child so that he can actively participate in it and learn quickly.
For example, when it comes to the word “O” what you can do is that you can cut the letter “O” on a card paper (make sure that it’s big enough that it can fit your head), you then can wear the letter “O” on your head and play a game with your child like ‘hey! I am Mr. O”.

What is learning?
How can you make learning easier and fun, especially for kids? How can you develop their interest in acquiring new things? Well, if you really want to dig into the details of these questions make sure you read on.
What is learning?
Learning is basically acquiring knowledge, new skills, behaviors, preferences, and values. Nelson Mandela once said:
Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”.
So, basically learning and educating is something everyone needs to do for sure. Now let’s move on to the next question.
How to make learning easier for kids?
There are several different techniques highly suggested by the educational psychologists which certainly makes learning easier for kids. Here are a few tips.
• Make them watch interesting and related videos.
• Use images and pictures more to explain and elaborate a little better.
• Choose a quiet place when learning.
• Take breaks in between lecture so the kids aren’t exhausted.
• Make sure the kids are fresh and listening carefully.
Now, off to the third question.
How can you develop their interest in learning?
Okay, so this is mainly the hard part. Developing the interests is the most challenging and daunting task. Even though there are some kids who are interested in learning new things on their own but a few require some extra attention, most of the time. There are few tips which can make developing the interest of children a lot easier.
Have a look:
• Use a lot of attracting colors, puppets, and flashcards to develop their interest in learning.
• Videos can also make learning more interesting.
• Pictures and slideshows can also help in developing children interest.
The Letter C:
Alphabets are the first thing taught in school and trust me it’s quite grueling and strenuous. Why? Well, because it’s not only about memorizing the alphabet. You need to help them make different sounds of the alphabet, help them write it, pronounce it, make words out of it and then use it in the sentence. But obviously you don’t do it all at once, right?
The initial step is to make them learn to read, pronounce and write the alphabet. Let’s discuss how to pronounce the letter C.
Letter C is the third alphabet in the ABC’s. Everyone is quite of that I’m sure. So let’s stick on to this word and figure out how to learn it easily.

Okay, so we have already learned the different ways which can help make learning easier. One of the best ways is to put on images, flashcards, and most importantly videos. Videos not only help in developing an interest in learning but also assists in remembering and recalling the alphabets. Making children watch videos is best for children who have a problem with concentration and do not pay attention.
How to learn the Letter C?
Pronunciation of the letter is most important. Obviously, there is more than one way to pronounce the letter C. To make that easier playing a video which not only helps the kids in recognizing the alphabet but also helps in pronouncing the different sounds made by the alphabet.

• Learning through demonstrations

Visual Processing:
The human brain, especially children’s, is dedicated more towards the visual processing. Since, the brain responds to visuals first, therefore, learning through videos help in grasping the idea (of what is being taught) better. Recalling and memorizing stuff from the videos and pictures (for kids) retains in mind for a longer duration of time, therefore it is always better to make children learn through videos and pictures first before you switch to copy and pencil.
Learning through demonstrations:
Learning for children through demonstrations is always better. Since it requires just watching and paying attention rather than making any effort, therefore, it is better to make children learn this way.

The alphabets are the basis of the child’s education. This is where the child learns the concept of education and learning new things. Since the basis of the child’s education is formed from here, it needs to be strong. This is the start of a child’s academics and this is where the child will learn about the new face of their life.
Children start feeling interested and they start responding to the alphabets at the age of around two years. Their minds are totally fresh and are like a canvas. Whatever you paint on this canvas right now, will stay on it forever and will affect every other thing that comes there. They are ready to grasp new ideas and learn new things.
You can start teaching your child the alphabets at this stage however before you start teaching it is very important that you know the nature of your child first. Every child responds differently and has his/her own speed and way of learning. Different kids will respond differently to the methods of teaching, just because one method is working for some other kid does not mean that it has to work for your kid as well.
Every child has their own strengths and weaknesses. Therefore, it is very important that no pressure is put on the child because this pressure will only make the child dislike this new concept of learning and academics and eventually he/she will lose the interest, which is a very harmful thing.
When your kid goes to school he/she will be required to know the basics such as knowing all the alphabet verbally, identifying the upper case and lower-case letter, matching the upper case and lower-case letters and being able to identify the sounds of the alphabets. So, this basically means that the responsibility of teaching the basics is on the parents.
Easy ways to make your child learn the alphabets
1.The alphabet song
There is nothing better than the alphabet song to teach a child the alphabets. Kids respond very well to the tune and learn the alphabets very quickly as compared to the other methods. The tune will gradually start to settle in their minds and eventually the alphabets will become a part of their memory.
2. The reading books
There are many alphabet books available that can help you make your child familiar with the alphabets. Kids might respond differently to the reading books because some kids are naturally not interested in the books and respond better to other graphical things like videos. So this concludes that in such a case videos would be your best choice to make your kid learn.
3. The videos
The videos are the most effective and quick way of teaching kids the alphabets. Videos tend to be more attractive to the kids since in videos they see more colors and animations. Kids are naturally more attracted to colors and this is in every kid, so videos are effective for everyone. Videos are also more effective because through videos the kid will be using three of his senses. He will be watching the alphabets appear on the screen, he will hear the pronunciation of the alphabets and he will naturally try to repeat what he is seeing and hearing. Therefore he/she will be learning much faster than any other method of teaching.
There are a lot of videos available on YouTube. You can choose any of the videos, choose the one that your kid finds the most interesting and responds the best too. Just do a little research.
4. Use props
When you go into the kids market you will see many toys and props that make use of the alphabets. There are very interesting alphabet toys and are very effective for the kids. Make the child learn while he plays. Look for some fun toys with alphabets on them so that the child also learns while he plays because while playing the child is ready to learn and explore new things. This is your best chance to introduce them to the alphabets.

Letter V - Learn the Alphabet | Kids Academy

As said earlier, textbooks are never enough when you have to teach a child a particular alphabet. For example, to learn the alphabet V, you can use different online platforms like Youtube, etc. It’s the digital era we are living in and we should use online lessons to teach our children the things that they find hard. These videos have audios and visuals in them that can help you and your child with the letter V.
Other than this, you can even try making different sounds and using words that start with “V”. As teachers and parents, you can come up with different games that somehow help the little one learn letter “V” and grasp its concept.

Rounding to the nearest 100 | 3rd Grade | Kids Academy
Time for some math’s lesson. Math’s can be really fun if taught the right way. Make it interesting and easy for the kid, and they will love it.
Rounding off to the nearest number is a very basic lesson in the early standards. It requires a sound understanding of the concept and needs more and more practice to master the technique. So, let’s start with the easy tutorial to make rounding off a piece of cake.
Round off to nearest 100
If you want to round off a number to the nearest 100 you need to look at the number at the tens place to help you decide whether to round up or round down.

Since we are rounding off to the nearest 100 we will look at the number to the right of hundreds which is the tens.
Now 5 is the key number. If it 5 or greater you round up if it is less than 5 that is 4 or lower you round down. When you round to the nearest 100 the numbers in the tens and one's places become zero, so 153 when rounded off to the nearest 100 will become 200.
Similarly, 175 rounds off to 200, 871 to 900 and 963 to 1000.
So, this was simple, you look at the number to the right of hundreds place, which is the tens number, if it higher than 5 rounds up and change the tens and one’s number to zero. And that’s it the number has been rounded off to the nearest 100. These rounding lessons further become helpful in the common core math multiplication and common core math addition. Therefore these concepts must be cleared at this stage.
