It's Kids Academy, and welcome back to our channel! Learning about community helpers is a great way to engage kids when it comes to learning about their community. For preschoolers and kindergarteners, it’s important that they learn who community helpers are, and what roles they play in their lives. Without exposure, they may have a hard time learning how community helpers can make a difference, and which community helper to turn to when they need help.

This engaging video from Kids Academy lets your preschooler or kindergartener learn about community helpers by asking questions like, “Who are community helpers?” and “What do community helpers do?’

They’ll learn how community helpers keep kids and families safe, and how they perform different jobs in our community that make our lives better. Learn how to find the area of a composite figure that has triangle shapes

Vertical Angles Explained
Vertical angles in Geometry occur when two lines cross one another. The lines share a common vertex and are opposite each other.
Vertical angles are congruent which means the angle measure is equal. In addition two pairs of vertical angles are created when the lines cross.

Law conservation mass word problems.
In the video, I show two types of law of conservation word problems. The first problem involves counting atoms and the second problem involves finding the mass of the reactants and the products.
Example problem:
How much oxygen would add with 36g of carbon to give 136g of carbon dioxide?

Difference between Organic and Inorganic Compounds
Organic compounds contain carbon. There are at least four important organic compounds, lipids, proteins, carbohydrates, and nucleic acids.
Inorganic compounds do not contain carbon and usually are more simple compounds.
There are some compounds that contain carbon and are inorganic like carbon dioxide.

In which John Green teaches you about the election of 1860. As you may remember from last week, things were not great at this time in US history. The tensions between the North and South were rising, ultimately due to the single issue of slavery. The North wanted to abolish slavery, and the South wanted to continue with it. It seemed like a war was inevitable, and it turns out that it was. But first, the nation had to get through this election. You'll learn how the bloodshed in Kansas and the truly awful Kansas-Nebraska Act led directly to the decrease in popularity of Stephen Douglas, the splitting of the Democratic party, and the unlikely victory of a relatively inexperienced politician from Illinois, Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln's election would lead directly to the secession of several southern states, and thus to the Civil War. John will teach you about all this, plus Dred Scott, Roger Taney, and John Brown.

In which John Green teaches you about World War 2, as it was lived on the home front. You'll learn about how the war changed the country as a whole, and changed how Americans thought about their country. John talks about the government's control of war production, and how the war probably helped to end the Great Depression. Broader implementation of the income tax, the growth of large corporations, and the development of the West Coast as a manufacturing center were also results of the war. The war positively changed the roles of women and African Americans, but it was pretty terrible for the Japanese Americans who were interred in camps. Learn how to solve Quadratic Equations (x^2+3x-10=0) using three different methods: The Quadratic Formula, by Factoring, and by Completing the Square. By PreMath.com

👉 Learn how to solve multi-step equations with variable on both sides of the equation. An equation is a statement stating that two values are equal. A multi-step equation is an equation which can be solved by applying multiple steps of operations to get to the solution.

To solve a multi-step equation, we first combine like terms by taking the variable terms to one side of the equality sign and the constant terms to the other side of the equation and evaluate them, then we can isolate the variable by multiplying both sides by the reciprocal of the coefficient of the variable.
