But seriouslyâĻ I know I have work to do here too.
I look around and itâs tech, tech, tech. At school. At home. In restaurants. In the car. Waiting in line. Sometimes because itâs usefulâĻand sometimes because itâs just become the default.
And then we wonder why kids struggle when the stimulation disappears.
Schools need to ask whether every piece of technology is actually making learning better.
And as a parent? I need to look at whatâs happening at home too. Because this is a two-way street.
Maybe we ALL need to get a little more comfortable letting kids be bored, move, make things, talk, read, playâĻand exist without something constantly entertaining them.
