But seriously… I know I have work to do here too.

I look around and it’s tech, tech, tech. At school. At home. In restaurants. In the car. Waiting in line. Sometimes because it’s useful…and sometimes because it’s just become the default.

And then we wonder why kids struggle when the stimulation disappears.

Schools need to ask whether every piece of technology is actually making learning better.

And as a parent? I need to look at what’s happening at home too. Because this is a two-way street.

Maybe we ALL need to get a little more comfortable letting kids be bored, move, make things, talk, read, play…and exist without something constantly entertaining them.
