Parks are a very important part of a community becoming home for trees and some small animals and a picnic point for people living nearby. A national park is much bigger than a community park. In this kind of park, all the animals and plants are in their natural habitat.
Yellow stone is the world’s first national park. It is in three different states at once, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho which tells us how big this park is. Here you will find some amazing geysers and hot springs.
The Grand Canyon is another famous national park in Arizona. Here you will find huge canyons. This great park was formed by the Colorado River. Scientists have said it took two billion years for this park to be made. Well, nature takes its time.
The most amazing park is the Biscayne national park in Florida. Its something you would have never seen before. Its mostly made of ocean water. It is made of beautiful fish and reefs and other mesmerizing views underwater.

The letter I | Learn Alphabet for Kids - English Letters | Kids Academy
1. First, you show them the letter written somewhere.
2. Then you show them how it is written.
• Draw the first line
• Then draw the upper and lower lines.
Use chalk or a pencil or any colorful crayon or marker to make this more interesting to the kid. The more the kid enjoys the learning process, the better/she will learn. In the beginning, you can help the kid to write by holding their hand and letting them trace over an already written ‘I’. This will familiarize the kid with the hand movement and the shape that this alphabet makes.
3. Then you need to teach the kid the sound of J.
Learning the sound of the alphabet is very important to understand it completely. Now, ‘I’ has two sounds:
1. ‘I’ sounds as ‘aeh’, as in ‘igloo’.
2. ‘I’ sounds as ‘aai’, as in ‘ivy’
So what examples can you give? Let me help you out.
1. For the sound ‘aeh’, as in igloo.
Examples:
• Ink
• Insect
• Ill
• Image
• if
2. For the sound ‘ai’, as in ivy.
Examples:
• Ice
• Icycle
• Idea
• Ideal
• Identical
Use some pictures when you are teaching the kind words, it helps them to relate and learn better. When the kid is able to relate the word that he is learning with some real object it remains in their memory and is better for learning otherwise the words will always remain hypothetical in the kid’s brain.

Saving Earth's Resources | How to Conserve Natural Resources: Water, Air, and Land
Yes, there’s no doubt in the fact that you are supposed to teach your little one everything about maths and science and geography, etc but what’s more important is to educate your child about saving the Earth’s resources because this is something that will come in handy to them once they start growing up.
You see, conservation of natural resources should be more of a part of ethics. There is a total of three branches of the government and kids are supposed to know what these branches are in detail and how they work because this is a part of the basic knowledge about a country that everyone must know.
The three parts are;
● The Executive
● The Legislative

The Executive:
The executive part of the government is based on the President of the country and 5000,000 workers. All the laws that are made by the Legislative branch are enforced by the President. On the other the President is elected by the citizens of the United States, the age of the President must be 18 or above.
The Legislative:

Place Values are a very fundamental concept in mathematics. The number system in our world is quite complex for kids. Therefore, it is essential to teach them the basics of exchange, trading, position, and value of numbers. The teaching of tens ones and hundreds forms the basis for more complex arithmetic problems. At the beginning of 2nd grade, kids are usually given the concept of ones and tens. After a while, they move a step further to place value of hundreds.
Place value can be taught in several ways. But it is important to make the teaching interesting for the kids. One basic strategy of teaching place value hundreds is as follows:
1. Check the Concept of Ones and Tens
Write a 2 digit number on the board or distribute some poker chips or any colored inanimate objects among students (it is better if you use the objects previously used for teaching ones and tens), and ask the students to identify the tens place and ones place in the written number. If you are using objects to teach then ask the kids how they can trade ones for tens.
When you are sure that they know the place values of ones and tens clearly, you can start teaching the place value of a hundred.
2. Write Hundred on the White Board or Give Them the Third Set of Colored Objects
Tell kids how to skip count in the forms of 10, 20, 30…… 90. Once they start skip counting, write a 3 digit number on the board and ask them for its place values. Now tell them how to trade tens for hundreds.
Again it will be helpful to give them the third set of colored objects and label them as value hundreds than ask the kids to trade them for tens.
3. Start Playing and Asking Questions
Now is the right time to start playing games of 3 digit numbers. Ask the kids simple questions of how they will add or subtract the 3 digit numbers. Cement the concept of place value hundreds in their brains using such small games.

Learn to Read for Kids | Identify Individual Words | Reading for Preschool and Kindergarten
Reading forms a very important part of the child’s initial academics. It is also a very difficult lesson for kids and mostly it is seen that kids struggle with it. However, if it is made easy and everything is explained to the kid in an easy way this can also become a very easy and a very interesting lesson.
It is important for teachers and parents to know that each kid is different, and each kid takes a different amount of time to grasp a concept. Therefore, putting pressure on the kid will not help him/her to get any better.
Now how can you help the kid to read fluently? There are some simple tips and tricks that you can follow to make reading for preschool and kindergarten kids easy.
1. Practice makes a man perfect
Read with your kid as much as you can. Be patient and don’t expect the child to start reading just after a few readings. With more and more practice the kid will slowly start understanding the sounds and alphabets and how they are working together. Start with small words.
2. Don’t burden the child
It is important the kid does not feel too much pressurized. If you burden the kid with a new difficult word every day it would become very difficult for him/her to cope up with it. So, take things slowly let the kid get familiarized with some words and then move forward.
3. Read what the kid likes
It’s better than you read a storybook that the kid likes, it would create more interest in the child and he would be more curious to read and understand what his/her favorite characters are saying. It would enhance the learning process.
4. Encourage participation
Encourage the kid to participate in the process and read with you. Ask questions while reading for example if you are reading a story with a dog in it, every once in a while, ask ‘so where is the dog?’. This will keep the child attentive and also, they will be better able to identify individual words.

The alphabets are the basics of the child’s learning process. This will form the base of everything that the child is going to learn therefore it is very important that this base is strong, and the child goes with clear concepts to the next standard.
Learning the alphabets can be made very easy for the kids by making it fun for them. The more they enjoy learning this process, the more quickly they will learn.
If your child has learned the letters A, B, C, let’s move on to the letter D now. So how can your child learn letter D?

So how can you teach your child the letter D. Let’s start.

Learn Letter E - Alphabet for Children | Kids Academy
The very first thing kids learn are alphabets. Starting from nursery and kindergarten children are taught to read, write and pronounce different alphabets. Today our task is to read, learn, write and pronounce the letter E. Letter E is the fifth letter in the alphabetical order.
Let’s begin with the sound this letter produces. It generally makes two different sounds which are (ae) for example egg and (ee), example eel. Our second task is to try writing the letter. To write the letter, make a straight line and then make three horizontal lines connected to it.
What are some other things you need to know? Well, E is a vowel as well. A vowel is a speech sound which is made by the vocal folds. Majority of the words consists of any one of the vowels which make the pronunciation easier. Amazing, right? Our Sun, the most important star in our sky. All living things on the Earth depend on the sun to warm the earth, provide light during the day, and for changing seasons and differing climates around the world. The Earth's rotation, day and night as well as seasons can be an abstract idea for children, but Kids Academy has created this video to bring these concepts to life for all learners. Children will gain a better understanding of how our Sun and Earth function together and the effects it has on our everyday life as well as long term effects such as seasons.
The earth's rotation (how it spins), revolution around the sun, and the connection to day/night and seasons are animated and explained in this engaging video. Connections are made between the Earth’s rotation around the Sun and day and night. The tilt of the Earth on its axis affects the angle that its light hits Earth and therefore warms the earth. This means that the tilt of the earth affects climate in different parts of the world. For example, the sun's light does not ever directly hit the North and South Pole, so these habitats are very cold because they never get enough of the Sun’s energy to warm them up. On the other hand, the equator is right in the middle of the Earth, so it gets a lot of our Sun's light, and it is always hot there. The Sun impacts our daily lives in many different ways from when we get up and go to sleep, to the holidays we celebrate and activities we partake in.

This science video from Kids Academy will teach your child about our closest star – the Sun, which is the source of all life on the planet Earth. Observing the Sun and understanding its properties will help the young ones develop a better idea of the Earth’s place in the universe and prepare them for grasping the concepts of weather, seasons and amount of daylight, energy, as well as plant and animal behavior.
The Sun is in the middle of our solar system, and all the eight planets of the solar system revolve around it following their orbits. The Sun is a star, which means it’s a big ball of hot gas. Right now, it’s a dwarf star in the middle of its life, but over time it expands, which means “grows bigger”, to turn into a giant star when it gets really old.
Here are some amazing facts about the Sun:
1. The Sun is 327,000 times bigger than the Earth;
2. The temperature of the Sun surface is almost 10,000 degrees F, or over 5,000 degrees C;
3. The Sun is 93 million miles, or 150 million kilometers, away from us;
4. It takes the Sun’s light 8 minutes to reach the earth;
5. Our Sun is 4.5 billion years old.
In many ancient cultures the Sun was considered sacred. However, people not only worshipped the sun, they also learned how to use its energy in different ways. For example, the Ancient Egyptians knew how to build houses so that their walls would accumulate the Sun’s heat during the day and warm the house during the night. The Ancient Romans used sunlight to heat water in their baths. Nowadays the Sun’s light is an important alternative source of sustainable renewable energy. People build solar power systems, like solar panels, to generate heat and electricity.
