To simplify a complex fraction is to reduce the fraction in such a way as there is only one numerator and denominator. 👉 Learn how to find the slope between two points. The slope of a line is the steepness of the line. The horizontal line has a zero slope while the vertical line has an undefined slope. To determine the slope of a line passing through two points, we need to know the coordinates of 2 points on the line. Then the slope of the line is given by the quotient of the difference between the y-coordinates and the difference between the x-coordinates. i.e. slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1).
